Underwear Brand La Vie En Rose Officially Entered China And Launched Online Shop.

Canada's famous underwear brand La Vie en Rose announced its entry into China and plans to double its size and profitability by 2022.

The Canadian lingerie retailer will open its first store in China in PO Park Oriental Shopping Centre in Guangzhou in August 30th, and plans to open more physical stores in Guangzhou in the future.

According to statistics, La Vie en Rose was planned to expand to greater China in 2009, and has worked with Hongkong retail CHINA limited.

The two companies announced the joint venture plan, which will strategically introduce the La Vie en Rose brand into the fastest growing middle class market in the world.

Currently, the retailer has 25-45 stores and more than 360 stores worldwide. Most of its stores are located in Canada, and there are 95 stores in 15 other countries, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon and Morocco.

The retailer announced that it will also launch its online store on Tmall, China.

"We are ready to accept the challenge of taking the first step in China. We regard the first two years as a real learning period. It is very important to understand how the market works, so as to lay the foundation for our expansion, "Francois Roberge, President and CEO of the company, said in a statement.
