US Cotton Export Weekly: Signing And Shipping Of Upland Cotton Continues To Decline

According to the US Department of agriculture (USDA) report, on August 2019, 16-22, the amount of us land cotton export contracted in August 2019 was 33 thousand tons, decreasing from the previous week. The main buyers were Turkey (10 thousand and 500 tons), Vietnam (6305 tons), India (4717 tons), Mexico (3651 tons), Malaysia (3447 tons), and the abolition of the contract included China (1043 tons), Philippines (589 tons) and Columbia (499 tons). In the year of 2019/20, the export volume of us upland cotton was 38 thousand and 800 tons, which fell sharply compared with the previous week. It was mainly shipped to Vietnam (9003 tons), Indonesia (4332 tons), Mexico (3969 tons), Turkey (3833 tons) and India (3538 tons). In the year of 2020/21, the amount of us land cotton export contract was 5262 tons, the main buyers were Mexico (3855 tons) and Peru (1202 tons).

On the 16-22 day of August 2019, 2019/20 signed 1111 tons of Pima cotton export contracts. The main buyers were Pakistan (499 tons), Thailand (227 tons), India (158 tons), Bangladesh (136 tons) and Japan (68 tons). In the year of 2019/20, the United States Pima cotton export volume of 1905 tons, mainly shipped to India (1406 tons), Salvatore (227 tons), Turkey (113 tons), Thailand (90 tons), Peru (90 tons).
