Beijing Sanfo outdoor (002780) supplies Limited by Share Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "Sanfo outdoor") announced recently that it plans to invest 4 million 732 thousand and 400 yuan to acquire 9% stake in Beijing Le Yan Jia Ye Sports Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Le Jia sports"), and focus on the construction of parent-child outdoor parks. In the first half of this year, when both revenues and net profits slipped, can parent child outdoor business become a life-saving straw to save Sanfo's outdoor performance?
Accelerate the layout of parent child outdoor business
Sanfo outdoor said that the additional capital will be used for the construction and operation of Le Jia sports outdoor adventure park, which will form a deep integration with the existing "squirrel tribe" parent-child outdoor business, and extend the participation group from 3-12 years old to young people.
According to the plan, Le Jia sports will use the park resources to create a full season operation system. We use various functional modules in the park to introduce various types of sports events IP. At the same time, we use the cooperation with the school sports alliance to set up the curriculum system.
According to public information, Le Jia sports was founded in 2005. It is a comprehensive promotion agency integrating outdoor (directional) sports events promotion, base construction and activity operation. At present, Le Jia sports has many qualifications such as the official partner of the International Federation of orienteering sports, the official partner of China Orienteering national team, the world park directional organization, the only designated cooperative agency in Greater China.
In recent years, Le Jia sports has independently developed a sports oriented tourism destination product suitable for sports towns, cultural towns, scenic spots (parks) and camps. It has independent IP competitions, "Beijing orientation week", "intelligent running China" and "Le Jia Orienteering all-around three day competition". In the first half of this year, Le Jia sports achieved 5 million 992 thousand and 800 yuan in revenue and a net loss of 189 thousand yuan.
Sanfo outdoor said that the company's investment in Le Jia sports has a strong promotional role in enriching the outdoor playground and educational content of parent-child, and helps to form a deep integration and synergy effect with the existing business of the company.
Can we change the declining trend of performance?
Sanfo's outdoor performance is under pressure. In the first half of this year, Sanfo's outdoor business income was 185 million yuan, down 10.20% compared to the same period last year. Net profit was 1 million 630 thousand yuan, down 36% compared with the same period last year. At the same time, the company frequently encountered shareholder reduction recently. In September this year, the company announced that institutional shareholders Tianjin billion run growth equity investment partnership (limited partnership) (hereinafter referred to as "Tianjin billion Run") disclosed the new reduction plan, and intends to reduce the total number of Sanfo outdoor shares by less than 8 million 692 thousand and 700 shares through centralized bidding and bulk trading within six months. In May of this year, the institutional shareholder of Shanghai outdoor 6 million 860 thousand shares, the gold enterprise management company of Shanghai, also planned to reduce the shares of the company, with no more than 6 million 720 thousand shares.
Sanfo's outdoor holdings also began to reduce shares. In August of this year, Zhang Heng, the controlling shareholder and actual controller of the company, said that the planned total reduction of Sanfo outdoor shares would not exceed 4 million 60 thousand shares. Other executives, such as directors Zhao Dongwei, Sun Lei and Zhou Chunhong, are also planning to reduce shares.
Sanfo outdoor related responsible person told the China Commercial Daily reporter that the situation of Sanfo's outdoor share reduction is based on the announcement. He said that in recent years, the outdoor products industry is in a slow growth trend, and its performance is generally poor. But the difference between Sanfo outdoor and other outdoor brands is that its business models are diverse. Besides outdoor sales business, there are events, group construction and parent child outdoor business. Among them, family outdoor business has been valued by Sanfo outdoor and has good prospects for development. At present, Sanfo outdoor outdoors projects in Chengdu, Wuhan, Tianjin, Chongqing, Nanjing and other places are advancing in an orderly way. It is worth mentioning that the "squirrel tribe" parent-child outdoor park in Zhengzhou, Henan, during the eleven opening period this year, has received a total of one hundred thousand paternity and family breakthroughs. In addition, the responsible person further said that the relevant policies promulgated by the state will also play an important role in promoting the outdoor parent child market.
