Corporate social responsibility refers to the corporate social responsibility of employees, consumers, communities and the environment while maximizing their interests, including commercial ethics, production safety, occupational health, protecting workers' legitimate rights and interests, protecting the environment, saving resources, supporting charities, and contributing to social welfare.

The report on social responsibility of 2019 listed companies on health care was released at the summit. The report selected about 300 health care listed companies, and quantified the performance of CSR for each company.

From the data, social responsibility is still a long way to go for Chinese medicine listed companies. The study found that there were 161 enterprises with administrative violation and violation, accounting for more than half of the total, 55.3%. There were 139 (47.7%) of the environmental protection targets, 83 (28.5%) of 16 points, and 1 out of 20 points. In addition, in the 195 pharmaceutical enterprises, more than 110 enterprises received administrative penalties or serious violations, accounting for 56% of the total statistics, and 215 of the administrative penalties received by the group company, including the drug production and sales group, during the reporting period. There are 28 enterprises that have received administrative penalties or serious violations, accounting for 51% of the statistics. There are 732 administrative penalties and 14 serious violations of law by the people, 214 administrative penalties and 1 serious violations by Tongji hall, 204 administrative penalties and 1 illegal administrative penalties. There are 50 international medical administrative penalties and 5 serious violations.

For these problems, Lu Qingrong, general manager of Huarun's 39 major health department, said at the 2019 China great health industry summit that this is a common problem in the whole industry.

"Although China's pharmaceutical industry has been developing for so many years, compared with the developed countries, we are at a relatively early stage, and there will be various problems. This is also related to the stage of our country's social and economic development." Lu Qingrong said.
