Shanghai Sampling 125 Batch Of Luxury Clothing: 23 Batches Of Unqualified!

The market supervision bureau of Shanghai City supervised and sampled 255 batches of garments sold in the circulation area of the city. The results showed that 23 batches of the 125 batch of luxury garments were unqualified; among the 60 batches of silk garments, 3 batches were unqualified; 30 batches of 70 batches of women's skirts were not qualified. Supervision spot check

54 brands, 125 batches of luxury garments sold by 36 enterprises were inspected by the market and sampled by quality. After testing, 23 batches failed, and the unqualified rate was 18.4%. The unqualified items relate to the mandatory standards such as pH value, attachment tensile strength and color fastness.

42 brands and 60 batches of silk garments were inspected and sampled. After testing, 3 batches were unqualified, and the unqualified rate was 5%. The unqualified items were mainly fiber content and wet rubbing fastness.

Market inspection and quality sampling were conducted for 69 brands, 70 batches of women's skirts sold in 9 shopping malls and exclusive stores. After testing, 30 batches failed, and the unqualified detection rate was 42.9%. The main unqualified items are decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, pH value, color fastness, anti fuzzing and sphericity and so on, involving multiple national mandatory targets.

Interpretation of unqualified items

Fiber content relates to the authenticity of textiles. The quality of commercial raw materials is an important factor determining the value. It has always been one of the most concerned issues for consumers.

Extractable heavy metals exceed the standard for infant health.

Decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes are carcinogenic substances. The national mandatory standards are clearly prohibited, and consumers wear safety hazards.

PH is not qualified, which can cause skin allergy, redness or itching.

The fuzzing and pilling failure directly affects the aesthetics and comfort of clothing.

Attachments are not qualified for tensile strength. Accessories refer to the parts that are connected, decorated, identified or other functions in textile products, including buttons, adhesive buttons, fastener, zipper head, pull tab, pull loop, plush ball, bow tie and other similar parts. The possible harm of attachment to children may be asphyxia or other safety hazards easily caused by children's swallowing.

The color fastness to wet rubbing is not up to standard. On the one hand, it is easy to fade and stain, which directly affects the normal use of textiles. On the other hand, the dye falls off and touches the skin, which is likely to cause skin allergy.

According to the results of the random inspection, the market supervision department has ordered relevant operators to immediately stop selling unqualified commodities, conduct a comprehensive clean-up of inventory commodities and goods sold, and urge unqualified commodity operators to take active measures in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, protect consumers' legitimate rights and interests, and investigate and deal with the operators who sell unqualified goods according to law.
