At present, the quality of seed cotton in Kashi area and Korla area is more serious. The cotton lint is concentrated in 33%-35% and less in white cotton. The main points are cotton and light yellow dyed cotton, stiff and mixed cotton. Therefore, most of the cotton ginning mills have reduced the purchase price, mainly small enterprises, and the factories have stopped concentrating on processing.

Judging from the sales situation of enterprises, as of January 15th, Korla, Kashi and Akesu "double 28" hand picked cotton price quoted at 14400 yuan / ton (gross weight, pick-up, including tax), "double 29" hand picked cotton price 14600 yuan / ton (same as above), compared to yesterday's level. According to feedback, with the Spring Festival approaching, more and more enterprises have stopped offering quotations. On the one hand, due to the Spring Festival holiday, most workers have gone home for a holiday and plan to restart sales after the festival. On the other hand, some enterprises are optimistic about the market outlook, and there will be a wave of procurement in March. The price of zhengmian futures will hit 14500-15000 yuan / ton, so now a part of lint will be hoarding. However, enterprises do not have a large number of stockpiling, about 20-30%.

In addition to the price of lint cotton, the cottonseed market has been more expensive recently. The main reason is that many cottonseeds have been sold out, while some enterprises have planned to squeeze some of their supply plans for sale after the year. At present, the price is 2.2 yuan / kg, or even up to 2.3 yuan / kg. The part of the ginning mill thinks that it is not impossible to break through 2.3-2.4 yuan / kg after the year.
