Some people in the industry pointed out to the reporter that, however, in addition to the mature application of GPS system in the United States over the years, whether new business models can be developed in other fields, and how the huge innovation ecology collided by "Beidou" and "new infrastructure" can be carried and implemented quickly, the manufacturers in the industrial chain are all thinking.

Breakthrough point of beidou-3

From Beidou No.1, which was initiated in 1994, to beidou-3 today, it iterates not only geographically from China and its surrounding areas, to the Asia Pacific region, and then to the global coverage, but also to the accuracy and communication friendliness of the actual scene needs.

Tian Zhenhua told reporters that beidou-3, as a global satellite navigation system, has higher technical requirements in satellite launch, constellation construction, satellite measurement and control, and ground remote control.

In addition to positioning, timing and navigation, Beidou also has a unique short message communication function. Taking communication terminal as an example, the RF chip and baseband chip used are more complex than before.

"The design of Beidou satellite navigation system has taken into account the factors of upgrading. All kinds of equipment have certain compatibility and can still run smoothly in the process of system upgrading. At the same time, in the use of beidou-3, we can also obviously feel the improvement of performance, such as the improvement of positioning accuracy, the enhancement of short message communication ability, etc., and the overall service ability of the system has become stronger. Taking agricultural machinery products as an example, one of the key components is the high-precision satellite navigation receiver. Compared with the overseas imported devices, there is a high premium. At present, the domestic related devices based on self-designed chips have been able to significantly reduce the cost, which is the reason why more agricultural machinery products equipped with Beidou system appear in the field in recent years.

On the whole, Tian Zhenhua believes that "the comprehensive application of Beidou system is the trend of the times, and it is also a major strategic layout of the country. On the one hand, it will escort all fields related to the national economy and people's livelihood, on the other hand, it will directly affect the daily life of the people." The reporter learned that at present, Beidou is landing faster in transportation, aviation and other industries, because the logistics and transportation process urgently needs more detailed supervision, and the civil aviation system is also actively introducing the Beidou system.

According to the introduction of the project of Guangzhou Zhenhua wharf, Haige participated in the project. "In the process of field demonstration, we found that the high-precision application on the wharf will face a very complex environment. All kinds of containers and cranes on the wharf will block the signal greatly, so it is necessary to study the scheme. He pointed out that for the complex electromagnetic interference environment and complex urban receiving environment, the company also put forward a chip solution integrating anti-interference and multi-source fusion processing. At present, the automation terminal project of Haige communication in Nansha Port Phase II is under joint commissioning and test, and the terminal will be ready for operation at the beginning of next year.

Haige communication also independently developed a set of Beidou official vehicle management information system for scientific scheduling and management of official vehicles. More than 30000 sets of vehicle terminals have been installed in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other cities.

For example, Beidou system has been successfully applied in fishery, shipping transportation and rescue. From the rescue field alone, with the help of Beidou's high-precision positioning and short message information, the rescue speed and success rate have been significantly improved.

"The basic functions of satellite navigation are positioning and time service. Now, with the addition of communication capability, Beidou will be the first to be used in the fields related to these three aspects. The real landing of Beidou system requires the combination of Beidou and more new technologies.
