Hangzhou Xihu District Helps Enterprises Do Business On Cloud

The 2020 Zhejiang Hangzhou West Lake District Export online trade fair (Germany Station - Textile Fair) opened a few days ago. This trade fair is a special exhibition organized by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, Xihu District People's government and Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce. It is also the first special fair of "2020 Zhejiang Hangzhou Xihu District Export Online Fair" series.

Witnessed by Chinese and foreign guests, Hangzhou Tianchuang import and Export Co., Ltd. signed an intention order with German KIK company, Zhejiang Jingdao Industrial Co., Ltd. and German sohe company. Guests from both sides visited the museum online to observe the digital exhibition hall and the online docking process of enterprises. 40 textile and garment enterprises in Xihu District participated in the exhibition for one week, and 3D panoramic online sample display was carried out. The one-to-one accurate matching of German prospective purchasers was conducted for about 120 business negotiations, so that enterprises of both sides could find customers and receive orders without leaving their homes.

It is reported that the European market has always been the most important export market of the West Lake District. In 2019, foreign trade enterprises in the region exported $959 million to Europe, accounting for 28.25% of the total export volume of the region. On the other hand, the textile and clothing industry is an important industrial direction for the export of Xihu District. In 2019, the related export of textile and clothing industry in the district is 831 million US dollars, accounting for about one fourth of the total export of the whole region. Textile and clothing is the second largest consumer goods industry in Germany, and China's textile and clothing products have always been favored by German friends.

Since this year, Xihu District has played a good policy "combination fist" around "stabilizing foreign trade orders" to help foreign trade enterprises find opportunities in crisis. Starting from June, we will host an online trade fair every month. Next, we will promote more enterprises to realize "cloud Exhibition" for biomedicine, smart home, mechanical equipment and other industries, so as to provide strong support for the continuous cultivation and growth of foreign trade entities and the steady growth of total foreign trade. In order to support enterprises to participate in the provincial online trade fair and overseas Hangzhou digital exhibition, Xihu District has also arranged 8.5 million yuan for enterprises to participate in online exhibition docking and order transaction reward, so as to help enterprises seize orders. In the second half of the year, there will be 6 online trade fair training sessions to help enterprises improve matching accuracy. In addition, the district attaches great importance to brand building, organizes enterprises to participate in more than 20 domestic and overseas exhibitions, introduces the district's foreign trade incentive policies, gives financial incentives to brand enterprises, and creates new business cards for export brands. Up to now, 15 municipal export brands and 4 provincial export brands have been cultivated.
