In July, reporters from textile and garment weekly, a journal of China Textile Industry Federation, arrived in Peixian county to conduct a survey on the relevant situation, and visited and discussed with Shuntai textile, Xinfu fiber, Kewo textile, Huaao textile, Xinmian textile, Jiaxin textile, bedley textile, Changxing textile, Wanfeng textile and other enterprises.

Facing the current situation, boosting the confidence of the industry is the key

Through the investigation, the reporter found that with the gradual banning of Northern Power Grid, the gradual increase of labor cost, and the change of raw materials and market, Peixian's local advantages are gradually disappearing, the industrial structure is not good, the production cost is increasing, and the characteristics of weak anti risk ability are gradually exposed.

It is worth noting that Peixian textile enterprises mainly produce natural color viscose yarn (except for individual enterprises producing color yarn and spandex blended yarn), lacking upstream raw materials and downstream weaving, fabric, clothing and other enterprises. The textile industry has "two ends outside" (raw material procurement and terminal product sales), and the raw and auxiliary material logistics and supply chain system are relatively weak. In addition, most of the textile enterprises in Peixian county are small in scale, and the number of small enterprises is large. Although the ring spinning spindles are more than 2 million spindles, each enterprise is less than 50000 spindles on average. The characteristics of large groups and small individuals are very obvious.

By the beginning of 2020, there are 173 normal production and operation enterprises, 55 ring spinning enterprises, 2.09 million spindles and 118 rotor spinning enterprises, 200 sets (sets) in Peixian county. Mainly concentrated in the northern area of Peixian County, gathered Pengxiang textile, Huasheng textile, Xinfu fiber and other leading enterprises. In April 2017, it was approved as "China viscose yarn production base county" (successful re evaluation in 2020), and became the first national base named after yarn production in Jiangsu Province. In terms of output, it is basically consistent with the same period in previous years, and the inventory in current quarter remains current, and the power consumption is higher than that in the same period of previous years.

Although Xinfu fiber has suffered losses for three consecutive months due to market factors, the main reason is that the price of raw materials has dropped sharply, but there is still no shutdown phenomenon. The machinery and equipment are running normally and the output is normal, and the workers are on duty as usual. Under the relevant supporting policies, the epidemic situation is being overcome.

Entrepreneurs have firm confidence in the industry, and have said that although they are facing many difficulties, the business situation of enterprises largely depends on their own strategy, operation ability and competitiveness. Some enterprises with core competitive advantages have grasped the recovery period after the improvement of the epidemic prevention and control situation, and even found new market space in the epidemic situation. They may be ahead of the macro-economic situation and start to pick up.

Achievements cannot be erased

In the process of development, Peixian textile industry pays attention to giving full play to industrial advantages, increasing industrial structure adjustment and market expansion. Through becoming stronger and bigger, a number of large-scale leading enterprises have sprung up one after another, supporting the sustainable and healthy development of the industry. Among them, Jiahan textile, Pengsen textile, Guangpeng textile, Wenwen textile, Wanjin textile, Pengxiang new materials, Hanrun textile, etc Guohua's main textile revenue accounts for 30% of the county's textile industry. With the development in recent years, Peixian county has developed from spinning low count cotton yarn to ring spinning and rotor spinning coexisting, combing and combing. Industrial upgrading has a long way to go

The reporter learned from Peixian economic and development bureau that the textile industry in Peixian county is facing difficulties in financing, increasing factor costs, and the rapid development of textile industry in various areas.
