Shortening industrial chain and building bases in Sichuan

As a representative of the "virtual operation" of Wenzhou's clothing industry, their production is basically handed over to garment processing factories, and they are responsible for product design, brand and market promotion.

"In clothing sales, we plan Chengdu as a city.

And the whole of Sichuan is also a must for China's clothing industry. Our sales in Sichuan are second only to Zhejiang, and we must contribute hundreds of millions of yuan annually.

Chen Yunfeng said that now Gao Bang has more than 800 stores in the country, and more than 130 in Sichuan, of which there are 20 outlets.

"Due to the intensification of competition, the franchisees still had the requirement to join in the franchise, but now we only have to see a condition: whether the opening address is golden."

Chen Yunfeng said frankly that the target of "Coca-Cola, the clothing industry", will have a brand upgrading pformation plan in the second half of this year.

As early as the end of 2006, Gao Bang signed a contract with Xinjin to invest 2 billion yuan for industrial port development.

This is also the second industrial port project invested by the enterprises or non-governmental organizations to develop industrial parks after Xinjin Jiulong industrial port project.

Chen said that in the second half of this year, the first batch of factories in Xinjin project can be put into use, and the Yangtze River Delta textile and garment enterprises will be the focus of investment.

"The essence of the clothing industry is" fast, "and we must grab the fashion time.

Chen Yunfeng believes that after a series of efforts in product development, production, distribution and sales, the supply chain of Gao Bang has been shortened from 60-90 days to 15-20 days in the past four days.

To further shorten the time, we need to achieve local production and sales, shorten logistics links and reduce costs.

"Now it will take 5 days to move from Wenzhou's factory to Chengdu."

Importing supporting plants to improve industrial chain

Recently, another group of Zhejiang businessmen who made garment processing found the Zhejiang chamber of Commerce in Sichuan Province, hoping that the chamber of Commerce would lead the way and set up a professional garment processing base in Sichuan.

And the owners of more than 120 domestic and export oriented textile and garment enterprises including Guangdong silk, Shanghai Shenda group and Shandong Wei Qiao were also joined in the Shandong business association in the end of the year to find business opportunities.

In Chen Yunfeng's view, along with the speeding up of the industrial pfer to the mainland by the garment industry in coastal areas, it has brought new opportunities for the development of the garment industry in Sichuan, but we must first solve the problem of the disintegration of the industrial chain.

At present, there are more than 10 garment industrial parks and industrial clusters in Sichuan.

In Chengdu, there are industrial clusters of Dayi Binxing garment industrial park, Pujiang Industrial Park, Jintang Jiulong garment industrial park, etc. there are garment processing and production bases in Deyang, and there are Chengnan garment industrial parks in Nanchong.

These industrial parks have formed a "textile corridor" of "Qingbaijiang - Jintang - Suining - Nanchong - Dazhou" in Sichuan.

However, Sichuan clothing enterprises still have not been able to get rid of the "small, scattered and miscellaneous" situation that they have been in for a long time.

Chen Yunfeng has a deep understanding of this: "Gao Bang's production and purchase is concentrated in Guangdong, Zhejiang and Jiangsu. In the past few years, we have been hoping to find local processing supporting factories in Sichuan, but it is hard to find them.

Sichuan's complete garment industry chain has not yet formed. Many manufacturers still stay in the former shop after the factory simple mode, no features.

This is why we are willing to introduce coastal supporting factories.

For example, he pointed out that in some places of Guangdong, Zhejiang and Jiangsu, there has been a very specialized supporting production service. Often a village is a kind of garment accessories in the country's largest supply base, and the manufacturers of fabrics needed for making suits and T-shirts are basically set up in the industry.

To invest in Sichuan's large garment manufacturers, the first thing we need to see is whether we can solve the vast majority of supporting problems. Otherwise, the disjointed industrial chain will lead to higher production and processing costs.

At present, there is no complete supply of fabrics, accessories and clothing accessories in Sichuan. It is difficult to adapt to the requirements of improving the grade and added value of clothing products, especially the fabric problem has become a "bottleneck" that restricts the development of garment industry in Southwest China.

Many enterprises in Sichuan need to purchase fabrics from Guangzhou and Fujian, and field purchases undoubtedly increase the logistics and pportation costs of enterprises.

Cao Xinyu, vice president of the China Textiles Import and export chamber, who visited the Sichuan Province, held similar views. He believed that Sichuan's silk and ramie industry had developed well, but the development of cotton spinning, chemical fiber and printing and dyeing industry chain was relatively weak.

More supporting facilities and accessories should be built to attract industrial pfer with a complete industrial chain.

Brand products, less Chuan brand clothing needs upgrading
