Iran 800 Textile Workers March On The Streets

In the Farnakh textile factory of Qazvin in Western Iran, 800 workers marched in the street protesting the factory for two months without wages and new year's bonus.

Before privatization, this factory is the largest textile factory in the Middle East.

The factory management asked the workers to send a three person representative to negotiate, but the workers refused the management's request, so that the security personnel could not arrest the representatives after they had identified the representatives.

The workers asked the boss to meet all the workers at the mosque.

After the new year of Iran, many workers in Iran did not get paid, but their prices increased rapidly.

The recent large-scale labour protests in Iran are due to the increasing economic pressure of workers.

The Iran resistance appealed to ILO and trade unions, especially the International Labour Organization, to condemn the anti labour policies of the regime and the crackdown on workers in Iran. They urged relevant organizations to support their just demands.
