Humen Holds Garment Sewing Skills Competition

A few days ago, the "2008 Humen town staff clothing sewing skills competition" jointly organized by Humen town Federation of trade unions, Humen town economic and trade office and Humen clothing and apparel industry association held in the Performing Arts Hall of the Humen Weiyuan vocational high school clothing building, and more than 200 candidates from hundreds of garment enterprises across the town competed.

According to Tan Zhiqiang, director of the Humen economic and Trade Office, the main purpose of this competition is to further implement the spirit of strengthening the skills competition among the whole nation, the province and the city. Combined with the reality of Humen's clothing leading industry and the demand for human resources, we will further enhance the enthusiasm and diligent spirit of vocational skills learning, promote the harmonious development of production efficiency and labor relations, and provide a stage for grass-roots workers to show their strength and style.

It is understood that this activity began in March and ended in late April.

All the participants of the competition were produced through the selection of Humen garment enterprises and communities. The athletes were all full-time workers in Humen garment enterprises.

The main content of the competition is women's sewing technology.

The judges are made up of professional teachers in vocational middle schools in Weiyuan.

The competition will be comprehensively evaluated according to the size of the player's work and the fine workmanship. Finally, the list of the finalists will be listed.

The competition consists of first prize, 5, two, 10, three and 15, and 20 excellent ones. Among them, the first prize winner will be awarded the honorary title of "excellent staff in Humen town".
