    2008 Guangzhou International Textile And Garment Industry Exhibition Was Unveiled In June 9Th.

    The three day famous brand exhibition of China's textile and garment industry -- the eighth Guangzhou international textile machinery, textile fabric accessories and yarn, dyestuff auxiliaries, printing and garment equipment exhibition (CANTON TEXTILE2008) was solemnly opened in June 9, 2008 at the Guangzhou China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Exhibition Hall.

    This industry is recognized as the most promising textile and garment industry exhibition in China. Once again, the exhibition of many famous international enterprises at the same time can attract the attention of the audience.



    The exhibition is jointly sponsored by China International Trade Promotion Committee, chemical industry branch, China Textile Press, China Apparel Press and Zhenwei exhibition group.

    Its purpose is to promote the competitiveness of China's textile industry and promote the rapid upgrading of the modern textile and dyeing industry.

    For the Chinese and foreign textile enterprises to set up a platform for information exchange, brand display and trade cooperation.



    The exhibition is divided into four exhibition areas: textile machinery, fabric accessories and yarn, dyestuff auxiliaries, printing and garment equipment, attracting 537 famous enterprises from 17 countries and regions.

    The famous enterprises in the conference include: Jing Rong Rong, Hongkong Zhongda, textrex, three and machinery, Sheng Textile machinery, East day spinning machine, Ningbo textile instrument, Wenzhou DAE Rong, Nantong Hongda, Huntsman, BASF, Coren, Tonna, KBA, Shanghai chemical supply and marketing, Daqi, Jia Hong, Xian Ying, Danny Yue, Utel, Vietnam, Zhong Yuan, Pan Asia Pacific, YKK, Xiangsheng textile, Baihe group, Daly textile, KEE zipper, Yutai button, innovative button, Lida textile, Fengcheng textile, Paris line, exhibition art, standard, WINFASHION INC and so on, showing their latest products and manufacturing technology.



    Several technical seminars held during the exhibition are brilliant.

    The new environmentally-friendly printing and dyeing auxiliaries delivered by Shenzhen advanced Hualian Fine Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., the six technical seminars and product promotion sessions delivered by BASF (China) Co., Ltd., entitled "BASF water saving, energy saving, environmental protection, efficient textile printing and dyeing process, BASF environmental soft printing system" and German Degussa company's "Degussa product technology seminar".

    It provides a comprehensive application technology and solution for printing and dyeing enterprises.



    According to the organizers, textile machinery, fabric accessories and yarn, dyestuff auxiliaries and printing and garment four exhibitions were held at the same time to better run through the entire textile industry chain.

    To enable viewers to achieve one-stop shopping from textile raw materials to processing equipment to meet the different trade needs of visitors.

    The interrelationship between industry and technology will bring unexpected exchanges between exhibitors and exhibitors, between exhibitors and spectators.



    According to expert analysis, since last year, the substantial appreciation of RMB and the increase of labor cost have been a fatal blow to the export oriented textile and garment industry, which has led to the shrinking of the whole industry sales. Most enterprises have taken the action of reducing expenditure in the field of publicity and promotion, which indirectly affects the rapid development of the exhibition.

    Despite such adverse circumstances, this exhibition has maintained a small growth, which has been widely recognized by the industry.



    It is reported that the exhibition will be closed on June 11th.

    The audience is expected to receive 20 thousand people during the three day exhibition, an increase of 7% over the previous audience and over 800 overseas audiences.

    The growth rate is 5%.
