A few days ago, Shishi identified 43 key emission reduction enterprises in 2008.

According to reports, most of the annual emission reduction enterprises designated by Shishi are concentrated in the three major control zones of Dabao, Wu Bao and Jin Shang. At the same time, they also include some key polluting enterprises outside the three major control areas such as the Hanjiang River and Yongning.

The more than 40 2008 key emission reduction enterprises involved textile, bleaching and dyeing, weaving, electroplating, food, environmental protection biology, leather making, thermoelectric, chemical and other industries and related industries.

Fortunately, in Shishi, many enterprises are striving for energy saving and emission reduction pioneers.

At present, these enterprises combine their own realities to take corresponding measures to fulfill the responsibility of energy saving and emission reduction.

Some of these enterprises, while improving the capacity of sewage treatment, promote industrial water conservation and reuse of water and other projects; some accelerate the R & D of water-saving technology and water-saving equipment, appliances and sewage treatment equipment, increase investment in industrial water recycling and reuse facilities, expand the scope of reclaimed water utilization, and gradually achieve "zero discharge" of productive waste water. At the same time, some enterprises carry out independent innovation by means of information technology, nanotechnology, biotechnology, plasma technology and other high-tech means, so as to achieve industrial restructuring and industrial upgrading.
