According to the newly issued notice, in the future, such as shooting, archery, sailboard, canoe slalom, weightlifting, trampoline, beach handball, beach soccer, beach volleyball, etc., as long as Fujian province has the conditions and wishes to run the games, the State General Administration of sports will give priority consideration, and when necessary, apply for some special funds to support Fujian's hosting of sports events.

The head of the Jinjiang municipal government also said at the seminar held by the State General Administration of sports held earlier that Jinjiang will choose golf, lawn tennis, equestrian sports, basketball, badminton, extreme sports and maritime sports as key development events to form a competition pattern supported by single quality events.
