The National Standard For Sewing Thread Was Formally Implemented In September 1St.

The national standard for sewing thread has been approved by the National Standardization Management Committee and will be formally implemented in September 1st this year.

The new standard was drafted jointly by the Chinese and American wire industry and the Shanghai textile industry technical supervision institute last year, while the Sino US line was jointly established by the American line company and Dunhuang group wire Co., Ltd.

Experts believe that the implementation of this standard will lead to the shuffle of the line industry, and the related effects will also be pmitted to the garment manufacturing links downstream of the industrial chain.

Compared with the original standards, the new standards differ mainly in internal quality and appearance quality indicators, which are divided into superior products, first grade products, qualified products, single line breaking strength, single line breaking strength variation coefficient, color fastness index, package moisture regain and color difference, color flower, clip and so on.

According to Wang Dongzhu, general manager of Dunhuang group (Jinjiang) Co., Ltd., the new standard is based on the practice of many years in the industry, integrating and revising the original industry standard "cotton wax and light sewing thread", "cotton sewing thread", "polyester sewing thread", "sewing thread test method", "sewing thread acceptance rules", "sewing thread packaging signs and pportation safekeeping".
