    Some owners estimate that there are thousands of such small garment factories in Humen, the town of Humen and the Luwu area. They carry large orders from Humen's large and medium-sized clothing enterprises or clothing wholesalers, and become the base of Pyramid's apparel industry.

    In the past two years, many of these quietly opened clothing factories have closed silently.

    Government: restore momentum

    In a landmark wholesale market in Humen, fuming fashion city, a designer who works for wholesalers said: "before a style can run to a large quantity, but now only a few thousand, hundreds of pieces."

    This "great quantity" was once a style of hundreds of thousands, millions of pieces.

    Retaining enterprises upgrading locally

    Pan Jijun, deputy mayor of Humen Town, thinks that the current recession is very common in the industrial clusters dominated by small and medium-sized enterprises. "Transformation and upgrading is a dynamic operation process, and the adjustment itself is the same process with the sustainable development of enterprises."

    Clothing is a pillar industry in Humen.

    The garment manufacturing industry in Humen is characterized by the synchronization of production and market. The second and third industries account for 48% and nearly 51% of GDP respectively. "This is the result of the government's deliberate guidance for many years". Therefore, Humen's strategy is "industry and Commerce simultaneously". What we need to do now is to "restore the momentum of reform and opening up, retain enterprises and upgrade locally."

    Huang Peimin, deputy director of Humen economic and Trade Office, said Humen did not worry about large-scale relocation of factories.

    Upgrading business circle

    At present, one of the most important measures of the town government is to build up the upgrading business circle.

    At the intersection of Guangzhou Shenzhen and Beijing Zhuhai Expressway, the 23 floor fuming business center has been built, and its six major supporting projects are under construction.

    The Humen town government hopes to become the center of Humen's clothing and headquarters economy.

    In the blueprint of the Humen town government, Weiyuan's "fashion and Creative Park" is an important chess game: building a park covering 200 mu between the two bridges linking Humen and Weiyuan.

    The government will build infrastructure and building buildings in the park, pform old factories, attract the entry of clothing brand headquarters with the selling points of "high access threshold and low operating cost", and attract designers from all over the country to regularly launch press conferences, environmental protection and functional clothing categories, and strengthen cooperation with universities and colleges in training and research and development.
