Putian Held Footwear Industry Special Meeting

In order to conscientiously implement the request made by Yang Gensheng, Secretary of the municipal Party committee in June 11th, to investigate the footwear industry, on June 27th afternoon, the chairman of the CPPCC National Committee Yang Pengfei chaired a special meeting to study and solve the problems facing the shoe industry and promote the rapid development of the footwear industry.

The persons in charge of economic and trade, labor, banking, tax and other relevant departments introduced the relevant information at the meeting, and put forward many concrete and operable opinions and suggestions on the difficulties and problems in the development of the shoe making industry.

The shoe industry is one of the ten major industrial clusters in our city. It has become the first pillar industry of our city's economic development. Last year, the output value exceeded 17 billion yuan, and this year it is expected to break through 20 billion yuan.

Although it has a long history and has maintained a high growth rate every year, the situation in front of us as a traditional dominant industry is quite grim.

On the one hand, due to various reasons, the footwear industry chain in our city is not perfect, industrial clusters are not developed, independent innovation capability is insufficient, and the added value of products is not high, which has further affected the industry. On the other hand, this year, due to the adverse effects of the international and domestic economic environment, the shoe industry has entered the "cold winter" period, and the development of enterprises is difficult.

In order to solve the problems faced by the shoe industry in our city, we set up an industrial cluster research group last year to thoroughly understand the development situation and existing problems of the shoemaking industry in our city, and study the train of thought and measures to foster and expand the shoe making industry, and solve some problems and promote the further development of the shoemaking industry. In mid June this year, Secretary Yang Gensheng pointed out four points in view of the grim situation faced by the current shoe making industry, and strengthened the confidence of shoemaking enterprises to overcome difficulties, strengthened the determination of making bigger and stronger enterprises, and effectively promoted the rapid development of shoemaking industry.

Participants gathered around the theme and spoke enthusiastically for the shoe industry in our city.

We believe that Secretary Yang Gensheng pointed out that the shoemaking industry still has the need for development, there is a foundation for development, there is room for development, and there is potential for development, and it can further expand and strengthen.

He urged Party committees and governments at all levels to attach great importance to the development of shoemaking industry, nurturing, supporting and serving shoemaking enterprises to help enterprises grow stronger and bigger, which has injected strong impetus to the development of shoemaking industry.

At present, the shoemaking industry must get out of the difficult position and realize the five changes: market pformation, while consolidating the international market, we should expand the domestic market, deal with the relationship between export and domestic sales, pform the brand, encourage and support enterprises to build their own brands, and pform the industrial chain. We must rely on the newly built shoes and clothing city to introduce shoe making enterprises and extend the industrial chain. The mode pformation should be shifted from the past enterprises to the symbiosis and win-win situation, and we should take the joint road, start the regional brand, change the management system, turn the family business into the modern management enterprise, establish the modern enterprise system, and integrate with the advanced management concept.

Party committees, governments and relevant departments at all levels should give substantial support to enterprises, such as supporting and concentrating exhibitions, supporting enterprises to create brands, supporting key enterprises, supporting industrial chain investment, and improving supporting service mechanisms.

Yang Pengfei said at the meeting that we should conscientiously carry out the speech spirit of secretary Yang Gensheng's investigation and shoemaking industry, and build Putian's traditional footwear industry as a big industry, which is in line with Putian's reality and is also necessary for Putian's sustainable development.

The footwear industry has made outstanding contributions to the development of Putian in the past, and will continue to play an important role in the future. It also has a tendency to become bigger and bigger. The economic pull to Putian is still obvious.

At present, the footwear industry in Putian is still in an important period of development. It has a reputation, a base, facilities, talents, technology and living space. In view of the current difficulties and problems, Party committees and governments at all levels should lend a helping hand to help enterprises overcome difficulties and tide over difficulties.

On how to help enterprises out of difficulties and promote the development of footwear industry in our city, Yang Pengfei made four suggestions:

First, enhance our ability to innovate and build our own brand.

We should actively create R & D centers, build technological development bases, introduce high-level talents, strive for technological innovation, actively create brands, emphasize product quality, establish marketing networks, and open up market outlets.

Two, do a good job in industrial planning and improve service level.

We should do well in the development plan of industrial clusters, extend the industrial chain and enhance the level of agglomeration.

We should focus on supporting some good enterprises to help them form a leading enterprise to become bigger and stronger through the form of listing financing, increasing capital and expanding shares and merging together.

The government should really provide supporting services for enterprises and improve their efficiency.

We should publicize Putian shoe industry through various channels and create regional brand.

Three, improve the employment environment and solve the problem of employment.

Insufficient employment leads to a decline in capacity.

We should innovate and improve the employment mechanism, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of migrant workers, and solve the worries of migrant workers, so that they can enjoy the treatment of local citizens in health care, children's education, housing, housing and so on.

At the same time, we should disseminate employment information through various channels, and increase the guidance of local surplus labor force, so that they will come out and accept vocational skills training and stay in Putian.

Four, build standard workshop and standardize the order of development.

The government should speed up the construction of a number of standardized factories, which is conducive to undertaking industrial pfer in the field, creating favorable conditions for attracting foreign investment, and guiding small businesses and some family workshops into the park, standardizing production, eliminating hidden dangers and promoting healthy and orderly development of the footwear industry.
