    In terms of US exports, according to customs statistics, Guangdong garments exported to US $4 billion 440 million in 2007, a slight increase of 2.5% over the previous year, and from 2007 to February this year, the export volume of clothing to the US was 280 million US dollars and 160 million US dollars respectively, a significant decrease of 27.9% and 41.9%. compared to the same period last year.



    Faced with this market situation, many textile enterprises have adopted many ways to pass the "cold winter".

    Reporters learned that many enterprises have begun to compress output, and reduce costs by way of "throttling", while actively developing markets such as Africa and Eastern Europe to "open source".

    In addition, textile enterprises have accelerated the pace of "going out". Cao Xinyu, vice president of the China Textiles Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, said that because of the changes in the international trade environment and the gradual loss of domestic manufacturing comparative advantages, Chinese textile enterprises have accelerated the pace of overseas construction. At present, there are more than 400 Chinese textile enterprises invested in Kampuchea, and nearly 100 in Bangladesh.
