The discharge of industrial waste water, urban sewage and Zhuzhou wastewater make Xiangjiang water load more and more serious.

The urban sewage treatment plants in Xiangtan and Xiangxiang have not been started yet. The ecological environment in the countryside has also been damaged by aquaculture wastewater, pesticide and fertilizer, and small pollution.

This year, the environmental century will mainly supervise the construction of domestic sewage treatment plants in Xiangxiang and Xiangtan, the simulation exercise of water quality automatic monitoring station construction and drinking water safety early warning and emergency plans, and strengthen supervision and tracking of illegal sewage enterprises, especially for the pfer of polluting enterprises to the countryside, pollution control of construction sites and road dust, promotion of clean energy, and pollution control of rural water sources.
