Shandong Lingxian County Geosynthetics Market Share Of 45%
In June 19th, before the fourth Asian geosynthetics exhibition held in Shandong exhibition hall in Shanghai Exhibition Center, a Korean businessman came to the Hongxiang group booth for only 3 minutes, and signed a $200 thousand geotextile production order with the group in Shanghai.
Geosynthetics industry is one of the four pillar industries in Lingxian County.
Geomembrane materials produced in Lingxian County are widely used in three key projects such as the Three Gorges project, the south to North Water Transfer Project, the west east gas pmission project and the Qinghai Tibet railway.
At present, there are 146 geosynthetics production enterprises in this county, with a total assets of 2 billion 300 million yuan, and a total output of 300 thousand tons in 2007. The sales revenue is 4 billion yuan, and the market share of the whole country is 45%.
