American Apparel Footwear Association: Dissatisfaction With The Failure Of WTO Negotiations
In August 1st, the United States clothing footwear association (AAFA) and its member units suspended the multilateral trade negotiations of the world trade organization. The multilateral trade negotiations were suspended because some countries were reluctant to make the necessary steps to open their markets.
The ambitious Doha round talks aim to cut tariffs and eliminate non-tariff barriers worldwide.
Ultimately, all WTO members need to demonstrate the commitment to strengthen the process, to work spontaneously and indefatigable, to compromise and to benefit all Member States.
