Shanghai Textile Yarn Industry Resists Industry Downturn
Xu Wenying, vice president of the China Textile Industry Association and President of China Cotton Textile Industry Association, said that the monthly growth rate of China's textile industry is decreasing both in production and export.
In the very difficult situation of China's textile industry, China International Textile yarn (Qiu Dong) exhibition will be held in Shanghai in October 21st, and the category will be more complete.
Xu Wenying told reporters today about the current situation of China's cotton textile industry. It is known that the growth rate of China's textile industry is decreasing every month, regardless of production or export.
Because of the blocked export and fierce competition in the domestic market, the price of ordinary cotton yarn has been reduced very low, but some markets such as colored spinning, new fibers and differential yarns are still available. Therefore, these products will become the highlight of this autumn and winter yarn exhibition. Chitin fiber, air conditioning fiber, flame retardant fiber, corn fiber and protein fiber will account for a large proportion of the exhibits in this yarn exhibition. New products are on display every year, and this year is no exception.
It is reported that there are sixty-five yarn and fiber exhibitors from seven countries and regions, including seven overseas exhibitors, from India, Pakistan, Korea, Taiwan, Turkey and Singapore. There are fifty-eight exhibitors in China, mainly from four provinces and cities in Zhejiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu and Shandong. Xu Wenying said that due to the adverse impact of China's textile industry, the number of exhibitors in the autumn and winter yarn and cotton textile enterprises is slightly less than that of the spring yarn exhibition in March this year, but some leading enterprises will still participate in the exhibition, and the product grades will not be reduced.
