    Shoe Technology: Cold Sticky Technology For Shoemaking

    In recent years, in order to adapt to the constantly updated requirements of footwear materials and styles, the cold sticky footwear industry has been emerging.

    Because of the advantages of less investment, quick response, low cost, suitable fabric and easy refurbishment, the cold adhesive footwear industry has developed rapidly.

    With the increasing variety of shoemaking materials, the common chloroprene adhesive has not adapted to the requirements of these materials. For this reason, P U adhesive is widely used abroad. However, due to the high price of P U and the shortage of raw materials, the P U binder is developing slowly, and the graft polychloroprene adhesive is used more frequently.

    Although the adhesion of grafted neoprene to some synthetic materials is better than that of common chloroprene rubber, the problem of gluing is still common. The solution to this problem is to develop adhesives with excellent properties, but the study of bonding process can not be ignored.

    This paper discusses the method of improving the bonding process by using the self-made surface treatment agent S T 1 to process the adhered materials.

    Laboratory instruments and reagents

    Constant temperature water bath pot, constant temperature drying box, agitator, three neck bottle, small hydraulic press, electric grinding wheel, etc.

    Acetone, acetic acid, phenol, concentrated sulfuric acid, oxidant A, auxiliary S, etc.

    Experimental method

    In a three neck bottle with a stirrer and thermometer, a mixture of solvents, auxiliaries S and oxidant A are added proportionally. After stirring for a certain period of time, the mixture is kept at room temperature and filtered to remove impurities. The surface treatment agent S T 1 1 solution is obtained.

    The surface of the sticky material will be brushed and its dust removed. The surface will be brushed with a ST 1 solution or soaked in a ST 1 solution. After a certain period of time, it will be cleaned to remove the residual drugs on the surface of the sticky material, then cool dry and then glue, and then press it together.

    Effect of surface treatment time on peel strength

    The time of treatment on the surface of the sticky material is short, but not up to the expected effect. The bonding quality is poor, the treatment is too long, the consumption of the agent is increased, and the bonding strength is increased little, and it also has adverse effects on the sticky material.

    Fig. 1 shows at room temperature (25).

    When treated at high temperature, the treatment temperature is generally not too high.

    Otherwise, it will cause shrinkage of the micropores on the surface of the sticky material and decrease the adhesion force.

    Effect of active matter concentration on treatment time

    The concentration of active substances in the treatment solution has great influence on the treatment time.

    At 25 C, the relationship between the active substance concentration and the treatment time is maintained in the case of a high peel strength of the adhesive. See Fig. 3.

    In addition to the surface treatment agent ST ~ 1, we also used acetone, acetic acid, acetic acid, ethyl alcohol and toluene as solvents and their different mixed liquids to clean the surface of the sticky material. The results showed that the peel strength of the sticky materials was improved to varying degrees, but it was difficult to reach the effect of ST-1 treatment, and their raw material consumption was large, toxic, and production was unsafe.

    Comparison of new process and traditional process result

    This process increases the surface treatment process than the traditional cold bonding process, and eliminates the infrared baking process after gluing in the traditional process, and the rest is basically the same.

    Therefore, the original manufacturer only needs to add some surface treatment equipment, that is, the production of the Department, and whether it is large or small, automatic or manual operation can be adopted.

    After actual production and application, the working efficiency is equivalent to the traditional process, the energy consumption is reduced by 1E20%, the amount of the adhesive is reduced by 10%, but the surface treatment agent is consumed, so the cost of each pair of adhesive cloth shoes is increased by about 0.30 yuan.

    The peeling strength of the treated E VA foam bottom and the rubber bottom is about 1.3kN / M: miso to 2.5kN / m, and the peel strength of the treated SBS bottom and PUC leather is increased from 2.3k N / m to N / M. The product can ensure that there will be no glue stripping phenomenon during the service life.

    conclusion

    The use of adhesive cold adhesive shoes, in addition to selecting suitable adhesive according to the sticky material, chemical or physical treatment of the surface of the sticky material is also an important way to improve adhesion.

    Practice has proved that using ST 1 surface treatment agent to treat polymer synthetic materials such as EVC foam bottom and SBS bottom, when the concentration is 50 to 709lL and treated at room temperature for 20 to 25h, the adhesive force is 50% to 100% higher than that of pure wool or cleaning agent.
