Wenzhou Enterprises Participate In International Exhibitions

Learned from relevant parties, this year, our city will continue to increase its support for Wen's "going global" and selectively select and open up emerging markets such as Africa and Central America.

This year, enterprises will be organized to participate in 30 key international exhibitions.

China's free trade agreement with ASEAN countries has officially entered into force.

Our city will vigorously explore the ASEAN market. In from June 24th to 27th this year, there will be more than 200 famous exhibitions in Wenzhou, which will be held in Malaysia. It mainly displays auto parts, electrical appliances, shoes and clothing, bags, stationery and so on.

The exhibition has been included in one of the key projects supported by our city in 2010. The city has given full subsidies to booth exhibitors, exhibition fees and pportation fees.

At the same time, our city is committed to building an overseas marketing network, giving full play to the resource advantages of overseas Chinese and the platform role of overseas commodity cities, and encouraging our city to have brand advantage enterprises to invest overseas to set up regional sales headquarters, exclusive stores or trade representative offices to expand the international market space.

Our city will start with the garment industry, and the Italy overseas business representative office is expected to take the lead in June this year.

According to statistics, by the end of 2009, 575 enterprises and institutions in Wenzhou had been approved to go out by government departments, and China's foreign investment amounted to more than 360 million US dollars.

Last year, the city approved 43 new overseas institutions, and China's foreign investment amounted to US $145 million, an increase of 196.48% over the same period last year.
