What Is The Principle Of National Treatment For GATT?
GATT's national treatment principle:
A member of a Contracting State shall guarantee that the citizens, enterprises and ships of the other party of the contracting party enjoy the same treatment of their citizens, enterprises and ships in their own territory. The principle of national treatment in GATT is mainly applicable to the equal treatment of imported goods from abroad and domestic taxes or domestic charges directly or indirectly imposed on domestic products.
