Raw silk material of Taizhou Darmei silk Co., Ltd. is from Huzhou, which is 10% cheaper than Taizhou's raw silk.

Guo Xiwei, head of the company, said: "the current raw silk price has greatly increased our production costs, and our silk products price can only be raised, and the current price increase is 20%."

It is understood that the labor intensity of silkworm breeding is very strong. With the rising cost of land and labor in the eastern coastal areas of China, some silkworms have abandoned mulberry and silkworms in the traditional silk producing areas in the East.
