The Demand For Carbon Fiber Increased Rapidly In May 27Th, &Nbsp, And The Future Of The Domestic Carbon Fiber Industry.
Since 2000, global demand for carbon fiber has increased rapidly, and supply exceeds demand. In 1995, the world's carbon fiber output was 14 thousand and 500 tons, 21 thousand tons in 2005, and the global demand in 2010 is expected to reach 50 thousand tons. In recent years, Boeing 787 and Airbus A350's huge demand for carbon fiber has resulted in a price increase of several times. At present, the commercial grade of carbon fiber sells at a price of 300 thousand ~50 yuan / ton, and the production cost is less than 180 thousand yuan. The price of the military grade carbon fiber market can reach 2 million ~400 yuan / ton, and the profit of the ton will be close to one million yuan.
At present, there are two bottlenecks in the development of domestic carbon fiber. One is raw silk technology and the other two is carbonization furnace. The formation mechanism of carbon fibers is not yet clear. At present, carbon fibers can not be produced directly by carbon elements such as graphite, but mainly depend on the carbonization of organic polymer fibers and then remove non carbon elements to form a highly crystalline graphite structure. Although China has been developing for decades, it can only produce T300 carbon fiber on a small scale (200~300 tons). For high-strength carbon fiber T800 and T1000, there is no domestic production capacity, which is mainly due to the lack of high performance raw silk and advanced carbonization furnaces in China. And these developed countries have imposed technical blockade against China, and there has been no breakthrough in China.
After the deepening of Sino US cooperation in 2008, the United States relaxed some exports to China. There are mainly three kinds of raw materials for carbon fiber precursor: viscose fiber, polyacrylonitrile and asphalt. Among them, polyacrylonitrile as the raw material of carbon fiber, accounting for 75% of the market share, technology is mainly concentrated in Japan's Dongli, Toho rayon, MITSUBISHI rayon, the United States ZOLTEK, Akesu, ALDILI and other hands. The technology of viscose fiber and asphalt is mainly controlled by Union Carbine Co (UCC). Internationally, the largest producer of carbon fiber, Dongli, Di Group and MITSUBISHI Liyang, account for half of the world's output. Domestic enterprises generally use polyacrylonitrile raw materials, including Zhongfu, Jilin chemical, Shanxi Heng Tian and Xiamen Yang da.
In view of the great development prospects of carbon fiber in IT, automobile, aviation, sports, military and other fields, all major domestic companies are strengthening technological research and improving their competitiveness.
