Children'S Day Check: Dongguan Children'S Products Pass Rate 96%

On June 1 children's day, Dongguan Quality Supervision Bureau carried out a special inspection action for children's products in this city, and conducted a surprise check on 122 children's clothing, children's furniture, children's toys, student stationery and other children's products manufacturing enterprises. It found that the formaldehyde emission of 1 batches of children's furniture exceeded the standard, and the 1 batch of children's Stationery (homework) was not qualified, and the overall pass rate was 96%.

At the same time, the Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau has exposed the series of children's products enterprises.

The sampling includes 18 batches of children's clothing, 15 batches of children's toys, 11 batches of children's furniture and 6 batches of children's stationery. The key items such as formaldehyde, heavy metals, mobile elements and other children's safety performance were tested.

Results only 1 batches of children's furniture formaldehyde emissions were found to be unqualified, 1 batches of children's Stationery (homework) were not qualified, and the overall pass rate was 96%.

The Quality Supervision Bureau ordered the destruction of products with serious quality problems.

The pass rate of children's clothing sampling increased.

Reporters learned that 61 children before the festival, the provincial quality and Technical Supervision Bureau of the province's stationery, toys, pram, household paper, infant and children's clothing 5 kinds of products conducted special supervision and spot checks.

Spot checks included enterprises in cities such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Dongguan. The pass rate of the sample batches was 85.9%, excluding 12 batches of unqualified products, and the qualified rate of internal quality was 89%.

Spot checks did not find Dongguan's products unqualified.

The Provincial Bureau of quality and technical supervision believes that the overall quality of the special supervision and spot checks is good from the spot check rate. Among them, the pass rate of stationery and toys is higher, and the pass rate of infants and children's clothing is lower.

The sampling rate of sampling for toys and infants and children's clothing has increased significantly over the past year, by 13.7% and 23% respectively.
