Dusseldorf Case Culture Theme Day&Nbsp; 20 Heine'S Poems For The Audience To Recite At Any Time

Liao Canglong, a junior majoring in German at Sichuan Institute of Foreign Languages, recited the poem "Foreign Affection" by German poet Heine in front of the reporter. He and three of his classmates came to Shanghai together with Professor Kirtland, Deputy Director of Heine Institute, who was a visiting professor at the university, and made a special trip to the "Heine Convention of the World Expo".

Yesterday, on the Dusseldorf Case Culture Theme Day in the "Urban Best Practice Area" of Puxi, the second floor of the Case Union Hall 3-1 was full of visitors enjoying a full day of cultural life. The biggest highlight of the theme day is Heine culture.

Many people have heard about Heinrich Heine, a world-famous poet from Dusseldorf. Almost all his works have been translated into Chinese, and the poem "The Textile Workers of Silesia" has also been included in the textbooks of Chinese middle schools. On the theme day yesterday, two female students of Liao Canglong, dressed in gorgeous skirts, prepared 20 Chinese German versions of Heine's poems for the audience to recite at any time, just like the male students who played Heine in tuxedos. The works of Schumann, another cultural celebrity and composer of Dusseldorf, were also presented on the theme day. Dusseldorf musicians Wolfgang Ensfeld and Peter Weiss jointly presented Schumann's "Love of Poets" vocal divertimento based on Heine's works.

As early as 1797, when Heine was born in Dusseldorf, the city was already a cultural center. Today, it is still one of the important art institutions in Germany. Dick Eboth, Mayor of Dusseldorf, said, "The first theme week of Dusseldorf World Expo kicked off on June 13. Guests can appreciate how important cultural life is to the quality of life in Dusseldorf, a livable city."
