Symposium On Protection Of Han Embroidery And Intangible Cultural Heritage
Recently, the Wuhan Textile University held the "Han Embroidery and intangible cultural heritage protection Symposium and exhibition." The purpose of this event is to inherit and develop the regional traditional culture with strong national characteristics, to show the protection and research achievements of Han Embroidery projects, to promote the in-depth study of Han Embroidery and to develop the related industries of Han Embroidery.
At the seminar, Professor Shang Gang, Secretary of the Wuhan Textile University, delivered an important speech. He summarized the basic situation and achievements of the State Council and the Ministry of culture in the protection of intangible cultural heritage after 2003, and closely grasped the status quo and trend of the protection of intangible cultural heritage. It also reviewed the important position of intangible cultural heritage protection in the National Social Science Fund's art project and its comprehensive cross disciplinary characteristics and the important development trend of the intangible cultural heritage that will soon develop into a new discipline.
Subsequently, relevant leaders from all walks of life in Hubei reported on the declaration and status quo of Han Embroidery and related intangible cultural heritage projects in Hubei. Scholars from the traditional costume culture research field of relevant universities published their respective views on the cultural connotation and research significance of Han Embroidery.
In addition, Ren Benrong, the inheritor of Han Embroidery, Yang Xiaoting, the master of Arts and crafts in Han Embroidery, Wu Qiong, Wu Qiong of the Han Dynasty embroidery, and Zhang Xiansong, a folk Han Embroidery artist, also made an in-depth discussion on the historical evolution, research experience, confusion of the status quo and the problems of inheritance and development.
The exhibition of Han Embroidery was also held at the same time.
The seminar provided a platform for exchanges and dialogues for Han Embroidery researchers. It pointed out the direction for the development of new embroidery and lovers of Han Embroidery and enhanced people's confidence in the inheritance and future development of Han Embroidery.
At the same time, this is also one of the research contents of "Research on the embroidery industry belt in eastern and central Hubei" by Feng Zemin, a teacher of the Wuhan Textile University in 2009.
