Pakistan Textile Mill Is Short Of Cotton And Stop Production.

India Federal Minister Mullen Dayanidhi Maran said the government decided to ban cotton exports in order to reduce cotton prices and avoid domestic raw materials shortages.

He said that many textile factories in Pakistan had been discontinued due to lack of cotton. Once the textile mills were shut down, they would have a chain reaction to other sectors of the textile industry, such as weaving enterprises and knitting enterprises.

India has exported 7 million 800 thousand bales of cotton this year, and farmers are selling well, which is higher than the lowest price determined by the government.

However, Mullen said the India spinning department did not have enough capacity to digest all available cotton.

The spinning department should increase spindles and make full use of excess India cotton.
