He revealed that during the visit, enterprises all over the country generally reported that it was difficult to recruit workers in the home textile industry. Although most enterprises in Jiangsu and Zhejiang announced to increase workers' wages by 20% before the Spring Festival to prevent recruitment difficulties later this year, labor shortage could not be avoided.

Research shows that when wages rise by more than 20%, corporate profits may decline by more than 20%. In general, upstream manufacturers and distributors are more affected by the rising labor costs than brand operators.
