Indonesia Promulgated The New Labelling Law Involving Footwear Products
From the Yiwu entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau, the Ministry of trade of Indonesia has recently promulgated a labeling law, which mainly deals with the distribution and sale of non food products in the Indonesian market.

Since July 1st this year, the import and domestic products in the Indonesian market must be printed in neiwen and contain relevant information. The contents include the product name or brand name, the locally produced product lists the manufacturer's name and address, and the import product must specify the name and address of the importer and the country of origin.
According to the product categories listed in the appendix, household appliances, communications, information technology equipment, building materials, motor vehicle raw materials (parts), and footwear, leather goods and clothing are included.
It is understood that for the products currently not sold in the Indonesia market, the effective date of the regulation is July 2010, and the effective date for the distribution and sale of the products already in the country is December 2010.
According to the Yiwu inspection and Quarantine Bureau, as of mid June of this year, Yiwu has completed the 175 batch of goods exported to Indonesia, with a trade volume of US $about 4400000.
Compared with last year, the number of goods exported to Indonesia increased by nearly ten percentage points.
The export commodities are mainly light industrial products, textile products and mechanical and electrical products.
