China'S Largest Textile Supplier In The First Half Of Brazil
Statistics released by the Brazil textile industry show that the import volume of the industry in the first half of this year (2010 years) from January to June was 2 billion 289 million 20 thousand US dollars, up 48.74% from the 1 billion 538 million 900 thousand US dollars in the same period in 2009, and the export amount was US $875 million 860 thousand, which is 3.79% higher than that of the 843 million 860 thousand yuan in 2009. Mainland China is Brazil's largest textile supplier in the first half of this year, amounting to US $964 million 160 thousand, while India and Indonesia ranked second and three in terms of US $256 million 290 thousand and US $144 million 790 thousand respectively, and Taiwan ranked sixth in terms of 83 million 370 thousand US dollars.
To distinguish between 26 states and 1 special administrative regions in Brazil, Santa Catarina is the highest state of textiles import in Brazil from January to June this year. It reaches 617 million 310 thousand dollars, and St Paul takes 534 million 660 thousand dollars, and the Holy Spirit (Espirito Santos) ranks third at 299 million 240 thousand US dollars in January.
In terms of exports, Argentina was the largest buyer of textiles in Brazil in the first half of this year, amounting to 190 million 390 thousand US dollars.
