Sichuan'S Textile And Clothing Exports Decline In May

According to the statistics of the National Bureau of statistics, Sichuan's textile and clothing exports amounted to 198 million US dollars in June, compared with 33.34% in May.

According to statistics, the total export volume of textile and clothing in Sichuan province was 1 billion 596 million US dollars in 1-6 months, up 121.94% over the same period last year.

Among them, the total export of textiles was 544 million US dollars, an increase of 73.22% over the same period last year, and the total export of garments was US $1 billion 53 million, up 159.68% over the same period last year.

According to industry analysis: first, the international economic situation in the first half of last year is still in the bottom.

The market of textile and clothing is low, and the base number is very low.

In the first half of this year, the textile and garment market improved and the enthusiasm of foreign trade companies increased. These two reasons promoted the rapid growth of exports in the first half of the year, and the growth rate of exports was mainly reflected in the 1-5 month.

Two, exchange rate changes and soaring cotton prices are the main reasons for the sharp decline in export volume in June.

In the 5-6 month of this year, the appreciation of the RMB exchange rate is relatively fast, which has a direct impact on the export volume and the enthusiasm of foreign trade companies.

Second, the soaring price of cotton has pushed up the price of raw materials, yarn and cloth of textile and clothing.

In April, the list was still daring to do in May, and it simply couldn't bear it in June. So it was a loss in May.

In the second half of the year, there is a great possibility of changing back to domestic sales.
