CAS Forum Focuses On Development Of High Temperature Filtration Textile Industry

At the meeting, academician Ji Guobiao introduced the basic situation of the development of high temperature filter materials. Academician Yao Mu introduced the achievements and future development direction of the high temperature filter material production enterprises. Yao Mu suggested that a professional service team should be set up to provide close service for the enterprises using filter bags. In particular, the service should be carried out throughout the whole project design, construction, commissioning, management and later maintenance process of the dust filter project, so as to reduce the input of the enterprise in the maintenance service. Zhu Minru pointed out that high temperature filtration Material Science Rapid development and huge market potential.
At the meeting, experts from the Chinese Academy of engineering and experts and entrepreneurs of the high temperature filtration industry made a number of special reports on the development of high temperature filtration fiber and filtration materials, and pointed out the existing problems of filter bags. The main contents are: the performance and application of polyphenylene sulfide fiber; PTFE spinning technology and its application in the high temperature flue gas dedusting; the industrial dust dust filter material mechanical behavior; the problems in the structural design of high performance environmental protection filter materials; the large blast furnace gas bag dry dedusting promotes the sustainable development of Baosteel; the selection of filter materials for the electrostatic precipitator in the coal-fired power plant; the present situation of flue gas desulfurization in the power plant boiler and the process introduction; the selection and analysis of the filter material for the 300MW coal fired unit in Shougang Group; the manufacture and application of the high performance filter material in the coal-fired power plant; the introduction of flue gas desulfurization and dust removal in the coal-fired power plant; and the protection measures for the filter bag in the dry dust removal process of the 3200 cubic meter blast furnace at Lian steel.
Yao Mu concluded that the conference has systematically exchanged important achievements in research and industrialization of high temperature resistant fibers, nonwoven and weaving composite processing technology and industrialization of high temperature filter media, as well as the design, processing, R & D and industrialization of filter bags. He stressed that there is still a big gap between China and the international level in terms of filter bag design, automation of filter bag processing equipment, innovation and standards, and need to be further improved. At the same time, he also pointed out that only 5% of the enterprises that need flue gas dust removal in coal-fired power plants use high temperature filter bag dust removal equipment. Therefore, communication and publicity efforts with users should be strengthened.
