From June 9th to 11, organized by the China Textile Industry Association, the ramie Specialized Committee of China's Hemp textile association was organized by the Hunan Huasheng Zhuzhou cedar Co., Ltd. in 2010, the national ramie textile annual meeting was held in Zhuzhou, Hunan. This year's annual conference will focus on the revival of ramie industry and the direction of its development.

Ramie industry boom is rising

"Data show that the prosperity of the national hemp textile industry is constantly improving, the situation is better than last year, but the recovery is relatively slow. There are still some deep-seated problems that need to be studied and solved.

For example, what is the biggest challenge facing ramie textile enterprises? I think the pressure of labor cost increase and RMB appreciation is the biggest.

What is the biggest opportunity? I think it is the key to speed up technological pformation, upgrade the equipment level, develop terminal products with high added value and expand the domestic market.

Xu Jixiang, President of China's Textile Industry Association, said at the annual meeting.

The reporter learned that at present, China's textile industry association is recommending and striving to adopt the method of "home code to the countryside" and "replacing the old with the countryside" with the relevant ministries and commissions of the state, giving financial subsidies to the enterprises of technological pformation and upgrading, and encouraging the textile machinery factory to develop mechanical equipment suitable for ramie enterprises.

At the same time, the association has written reports to the relevant ministries and commissions of the state, striving for the same treatment of grain farmers' subsidies, and buying a kilogram of linen county.

He believes that the main problems are: whether capital construction investment or operation costs are large, ramie enterprises can not afford it.

"For this reason, we must actively declare projects to national and local governments and strive for policy support.

At the same time, we should accelerate the application of industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, and adopt new applications, new technologies and new technologies that are conducive to energy conservation and environmental protection.

The conference held that the development of terminal products and the layout of domestic market are the guarantee to enhance ramie enterprises' ability to resist risks.

According to industry experts, if the RMB appreciation is 3%, it means that many small and medium-sized enterprises will be in the "dry" situation. If the appreciation rate reaches 5%, nearly 2/3 of the small and medium-sized enterprises will fall into losses.

RMB appreciation is very unfavorable to ramie export enterprises, especially for ramie enterprises which are mostly produced by domestic products and exported mostly.

"Ramie enterprises must attach great importance to doing well in developing terminal products and expanding domestic sales."

Xu Jixiang said, first of all, the ramie textile industry chain should be extended and improved, from the primary products to the middle and top grade products, and from the expansion of quantity to the upgrading of quality.

We must strengthen the integration of the upstream and downstream industries chain, blend and interweave ramie textile natural fibers with cotton, silk and functional fibers; link ramie fabric with clothing and home textile industry; integrate ramie products with national defense, health and tourism; combine new product development with brand building; and promote sales from low carbon, fashion, environmental protection and comfort.

Cultivating high-quality ramie base and talent team

How should ramie enterprises do well in the marketing of domestic sales? Xu Jixiang believes that, first, we should further optimize the main body structure, product mix, marketing structure and market structure, meet the individual needs of consumers, and guide the expansion of consumption.

Two is to enhance the level of product design creativity, play the role of ramie enterprise product development center, fully mobilize the enthusiasm and creativity of product designers.

Three, self brand chain stores, special stores, e-commerce and other modern circulation development trend of the new mode of distribution and sales should be vigorously developed.

Four, we should vigorously expand the rural market and make use of the market process of "thousands of villages and thousands of townships" to promote the independent brand of hemp knitted garments and home textiles.

"We must speed up the cultivation of organic high quality raw material bases for agricultural industrialization and build the foundation for ramie enterprise production."

He said.

According to incomplete statistics, the planting area of ramie in 2009 was 1 million 100 thousand mu, which decreased by 500 thousand mu and 1 million 600 thousand mu last year, shrinking 31%. In 2009, the total output was 176 thousand tons, 44 thousand tons lower than that of 220 thousand tons last year, down 33%.

This shows that ramie raw material supply has great hidden trouble and must be paid attention to.

Ramie is a Chinese grass, an agricultural economic crop with Chinese characteristics, and China's own affairs must be well handled by the Chinese people.

Xu Jixiang thought, "we must cultivate excellent talents."

In China's ramie industry, there is a lack of senior product designers and brand creative talents. Ramie enterprises should increase investment in product R & D design and focus on cultivating designers.

At the same time, we should strengthen the construction of technicians and technicians, develop targeted job skills training, improve the working ability and skills of the staff, and promote the upgrading of enterprises.

Linen Textile Association: vigorously promoting ramie industry development

During this year's meeting, Zhang Shiping, honorary president of China's Linen Textile Association and Hong Jun, deputy secretary general, held a seminar on "new ramie fiber processing and textile technology and equipment" Symposium and listened to technical experts' good opinions and suggestions.

The China Association of textile and textile industry was proposed to hold a meeting of science, technology and Research Association in Dalian in early July. At the end of September, a technical exchange meeting was held in Xianning, Hubei, and an expert technical committee was set up.

"The export tax rebate rate has increased from 16% to 17% now, and at the same time, it is required to solve the problem of high levy deduction, such as: buying ramie fiber raw material tax 13%, but the product sales tax is 17%, and ask the state to return the 4% tax rate difference to the enterprise."

China's textile industry association has asked the national development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of industry and commerce to report on the measures adopted by the cotton textile industry to deal with the appreciation of the renminbi.

The association supports the pilot project of organic high quality seed and vegetable base in agricultural industrialization, and selects a pilot unit in ramie, linen, jute and hemp to obtain the policy support from the Ministry of agriculture so as to promote the promotion of experience.

We are going to hold the on-site meeting of the organic high quality seed and hemp base in the middle of August, and promote the cooperation of the conditional ramie enterprises with the relevant regions and take the raw materials, self harvesting and self using materials.

It can not only improve the quality of raw materials, but also stabilize the price of raw materials and control the cost.

At the same time, we should speed up the application and popularization of ramie harvester and stripper, so as to better solve the problem of time consuming and labor intensity.

In mid July this year, we will open a Chinese textile culture park in Longgang District of Shenzhen.

The sale window of the textile enterprises can be selected to facilitate retail, wholesale and order, and cultivate the domestic market of cotton textile.

In mid October this year, a product designer meeting will be held in Zhoushan to discuss product design.

At the end of this year, the "China linen textile raw material Specialized Committee" will be set up so as to enhance ties and do raw materials work.
