Diane Von Furstenberg'S Latest Patient'S Fancy (Figure)

In the past few months, the Cleveland clinic has implemented new patient clothing, hoping to change the way it has been laughed at for the past ten years.
A nurse working in the Cleveland clinic and led the Jeanne Ryan in the past three years on the design of nurses' clothes, said: "I have been a nurse for 30 years, but nurses' clothing has not been ideal."
Ryan said: "patients never feel comfortable. They always complain that they are exposed too much, and others do not like to see their own illness.
Those families and friends came to visit the hospital where they always looked more beautiful in that environment.
Ryan and his team, renowned international designer Diane Von Furstenberg, won the 2005 American fashion designers' Association Lifetime Achievement Award.
Now, as president of the Council, when he met Toby Cosgrove in 2007 Internet Conference, he decided to devote his professional knowledge and strength to this business.
The new design will be launched in 2010.
Trying to improve clothing in hospitals is nothing new.
In 1999, Hackensack University Medical Center tried it with the help of designer Nicole Miller in New Jersey.
In 1994, the Maine medical center introduced a long wearing garment to satisfy the demands of female Muslim patients in Portland.
In 2009, the Robert Wood Johnson foundation provided us $236110 to the textile institute to design, produce and sell a new set of garments.
Recently, hospitals in the United Kingdom have also reinterpreted the traditional design of the back and forth sides, and launched a tradition of maintaining tradition and expressing themselves with more natural tailoring and patterns in online shopping websites like Assistwear.com and other hospital clothing.
Although many of these garments have been launched, Ryan said that the design of Cleveland Clinic will be the first time for all patients in the first place.
Ryan said: "an important feature of this design is to focus on walking and walking.
When you are in bed, it is very safe.
When you wear it as a gown, you need to keep some space between clothing and skin to let the air flow to maintain the complex and comfort.
Before clothing, when the doctor had to examine the patient's back, he needed to take off all his clothes, so that the patient's image could be affected.
Though not very appropriate and sometimes inconvenient, the production cost of Johnny clothing is cheaper, which is one of the reasons why this clothing hospital has been used for so long.
The Cleveland team also took into account the cost problem when designing their samples, as well as the material and size problems.
Ryan: "we need to choose materials carefully, which is not a very easy decision to make.
We have to use a thicker fabric to ensure that we can't get through it, but the biggest complaint of the patients about the hospital environment is that they feel too hot.
So we want to find a kind of light but not enough to sleep in.
We will be more practical about what kind of patients may have problems with personal hygiene.
The present pattern is a fully covered design that can be worn on both sides, blending the logo of Cleveland Clinic on the representative pattern of Furstenberg.
Other changes also include elastic waistbands and wide V collar to facilitate the use of stethoscope or chest measuring instruments.
Ryan, in a modest manner, stressed that the most important thing is the functional nature of clothing: "doctors can only untie the parts they need to check, without exposing other parts."
The trial period of the latest patient clothing will start in May. We are also looking forward to the adaptability and feedback of the patients after the trial.
