Zhejiang Province Promulgated The Management Method Of Excess Limit Standard Energy Consumption Price Increase

In the future, punitive electricity prices will not only be imposed on high energy consumption enterprises, but also need to be shut down.

According to the newly issued "energy consumption quota" of Zhejiang provincial government

The "excess quota" standard energy consumption price increase mentioned in the "measures" refers to the energy consumption (electricity) consumed by the energy consuming unit which exceeds the energy consumption limit promulgated by the state, provincial or provincial administrative departments for standardization, and the electricity price plus price system is applied.

The relevant person in charge of the energy resources department of the economic and Trade Commission said that these quotas are mainly enterprises, and ordinary households are not in the category.

The "measures" are mainly targeted at high energy consuming enterprises, including non-metallic mineral products, non-ferrous metal smelting and calendering processing, chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing, chemical fiber manufacturing, petroleum processing and coking, nuclear fuel processing, textile and paper and paper products, etc.

The "Regulations" stipulate that the excess limit of standard energy price will be paid according to the unit.

The "measures" explicitly require that governments at all levels manage energy conservation departments, and the same quality supervision departments shall order the over quota energy utilization units to manage them within a specified time limit.

If the energy consumption standards do not meet the requirements within the prescribed time limit or after the governance is still not up to the standard, the government shall advise the departments in charge of energy conservation and report to the governments at the corresponding levels to order them to suspend business for rectification or close according to the powers prescribed by the State Council.

It is understood that the implementation of the list of enterprises that will exceed the quota limit and raise the price of electricity price will be investigated by the departments in charge of energy conservation, and will be reported to the provincial departments for publicity.
