Organizers said that the design competition was the fourth session, with the aim of selecting outstanding designers from young people.

Most of the participants were students who studied and designed in Universities in Chengdu.

The organizers should select a first prize, three two awards, and six three awards from among them.

Hundreds of design drawings were placed in front of the judges.

"We mainly look at the originality and style of these drawings without aesthetic feeling and practicality."

The head of the selection said they specially invited the famous designer Gianluigi Cdombo of Italy to be one of the judges. The old man has 53 years of design experience.

A well-known shoe manufacturer in Chengdu said that the reality is that good designers can not recruit.

They hope to discover potential designers through competition. "If these students are selected, they will go to the shoe manufacturing enterprises for 2 years or so to learn from each production process."
