He Yang participated in the design of the award dress for the Beijing Olympic Games, but her design was not accepted.

Shortly after the end of the Olympic Games, the Guangzhou Asian organizing committee invited her to continue participating in the design of the award dress for the Asian Games.

From the end of 2008, he began to design, and the final plan of the "dress" was lasted for more than a year, but in fact, he did not have much trouble in finding inspiration.

She said frankly, "part of the design and inspiration" comes from the Olympic core graphics "Xiangyun".

"Like clouds, water, dragons, Phoenix and so on, they are all familiar Chinese elements for foreigners, and Chinese people generally accept these symbols."

The motifs of motifs and motifs were identified, and the prototype was quickly released.

But the subsequent revision and adjustment of the design plan took a lot of time and effort.

According to He Yang, from the beginning of the design to the selection of the program, and finally finalized, she has revised more than 100 times.

"In fact, there is little change in shape and design, especially in color change."

He Yang said that the dress she designed initially was blue and white, and there were some pitions in blue because she felt that the pattern of clouds and water was better in blue and white.

But the jury thought that it used to be used too many times in the past, and that it was wrong to make the sample after making it.

"In Guangzhou, whether it is a building or a south of the Five Ridges school, the colors are strong, and such colors can reflect the local cultural characteristics."

In addition to the larger color changes, he Yang said that there are many adjustments to the details.

"For example, the width of the white stripe is wider than the whole.

Not long ago, he adjusted the collar area.

"The meaning of the organizing committee is to change the collar into a cheongsam style, which may be more like a dress."

Compared with the ceremonial costumes of large-scale events in the past, the biggest breakthrough of this gown is fabric.

He Yang said that at the beginning, she also wanted to use silk, satin and other commonly used fabrics to do the dress. But to make the model show the figure of the body after wearing it, it was necessary to cut and splice the garment with several pieces of cloth, so it was difficult to ensure that each stitching pattern was not misplaced.

So she thought about trying to use elastic fabrics like swimsuits and gym clothes.

"Since it's a sports meet, make the dress a bit more dynamic."

He Yang said that the advantage of using elastic knitted fabric is that there is no need for too much tailoring, so long as the two sides are stitched and then locked, one more advantage is that all kinds of etiquette ladies are better fitted to avoid the trouble of tailoring.

However, he really did not have a heart before he really started.

"I am worried that because the fabric is elastic, the pattern will be deformed when people wear it, so first put a pure white dress on a person's table (plastic model), draw it on the top and draw it on the top, then look for a real model to try it on, so as to see if there is no deformation, I feel steadfast."

There are many elastic fabrics, such as polyester and nylon, which kind of fabric is better, and he Yang has carried out comparative experiments.

Although the nylon elasticity is better, the thickness choice is also many, but the sample clothing color is partial to the powder, the sunlight time is long may also fade, "later changed the polyester fabric to try, the effect is obviously better, therefore finally decided to use the polyester".

In the printing of the dress pattern, he Yang adopted the popular digital printing method.

"Digital printing has no restrictions on colors, and how many kinds of prints can be typed".

She said that the production cost of each dress is about 200 yuan, which is very consistent with the design concept of saving.

More than 600 days and nights of hard work finally came to a successful conclusion on this day.

He Yang modesty said, his design can be selected, "more luck."
