Social development has put forward new opportunities and challenges for the development of trade associations. The vast number of industry associations should seize the opportunities carefully, be courageous to meet challenges, and strive to contribute to maintaining stable and rapid economic development and promoting social harmony and stability.

At present and in the coming period, the reform and development of trade associations should be guided by Deng Xiaoping theory and the important thought of "Three Represents", and comprehensively implement the Scientific Outlook on Development, emancipate the mind and innovate. In line with the overall requirements of improving the socialist market economic system, we must adhere to the market orientation, deepen the reform of the system and mechanism, improve policies and measures, and promote the role played by industry associations in the national economy.

At the meeting, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Hebei, Shanghai, Anhui, Chongqing, Xinjiang and other provinces, regions, cities, and the national supply and marketing cooperatives introduced measures and effects to promote the reform of the management system of trade associations, strengthen the support of nurturing and support, promote the separation of political parties and improve the level of standardization of trade associations.
