Promoting &Nbsp Innovation Through Protection; Developing Intellectual Property Rights In Industries And Industries With Innovation.
2010 during the China International Textile Machinery Exhibition and ITMA Asia exhibition, the organizers set up the special exhibition. intellectual property right Office, on-site supervision and handling of intellectual property disputes, 5 days, received 29 complaints about intellectual property infringement between enterprises, 20 illegal exhibits were suspended.
Recognized by the industry as the largest Asian region, the largest number of exhibitors, the largest professional audience, the highest level of technology, the strongest professional international textile machinery exhibition ITMA ASIA+CITME, since its first held in China in 2008, with its adhering to the "respect for intellectual property rights, anti piracy piracy" ideas and initiatives.
The industry intellectual property protection system is gradually improving.
The protection of intellectual property rights has always been a very important content in the development strategy of China's textile industry.
Since 1997, the textile industry branch of the China Council for the promotion of international trade (CCPIT), as the organizer of China International Textile Machinery Exhibition, was held in that year.
Fabric
The relevant provisions of intellectual property protection are included in the exhibition and home textile exhibition's exhibition and participation contracts.
The article not only reminds the exhibitors to pay attention to the protection of intellectual property rights, but also protects the rights and obligations of exhibitors in intellectual property rights.
Despite the precaution, in October 2002, during the Eighth China International Textile Machinery Exhibition, foreign manufacturers of textile machinery complained about the infringement of their patent rights by Chinese similar enterprises, resulting in the exhibition of Chinese exhibitors being complained.
The incident caused a great response in the industry.
To this end, the China Textile machinery and equipment industry association took active steps to organize a training course on patent knowledge in textile machinery industry in Beijing in November 2003. It announced the grim situation faced by our country and textile machinery and equipment industry in the aspect of intellectual property rights. It targeted the knowledge of patent law, patent search knowledge, patent litigation knowledge, patent strategy construction knowledge, and so on, which provided an operational plan for enterprises, and invited the local intellectual property law enforcement agencies to enter the exhibition at the international exhibition held after 2004, and signed an intellectual property protection undertaking with the exhibitors, to deal with intellectual property disputes during the exhibition, and to promote the protection of intellectual property rights.
In 2005, according to the relevant laws and regulations of the state, the Textile Trade Promotion Council made a series of documents, such as the rules of intellectual property rights of exhibitions, the intellectual property rights complaint procedures of exhibitions, etc., so that the intellectual property rights work carried out during the exhibition was truly followed.
In March 2006, the "intellectual property rights protection measures for exhibitions" jointly formulated by the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration for Industry and commerce, the State Copyright Bureau and the four State Intellectual Property Office promulgated the regulations, which became an important legal basis for regulating the intellectual property rights of exhibitions.
Liu Jiaqiang, Deputy Secretary General of China Textile machinery and equipment industry association, said, "the introduction of the above policies indicates that the Chinese government attaches great importance to the protection of intellectual property rights during the exhibition.
International exhibitions based on trade associations should actively cooperate with the government and promote the protection of intellectual property rights in the industry.
Intellectual property promoting products
innovate
The protection of intellectual property rights in the industry itself is like a game rule. To follow and make reasonable use of these rules will play a great supporting role in our product innovation.
At present, the China Textile Industry Association has signed a memorandum of understanding on intellectual property protection with developed countries such as Italy, Japan and Germany to conduct in-depth and extensive exchanges on the protection, creation and utilization of intellectual property rights in the textile industry.
"China and developed countries can actively explore business opportunities in intellectual property rights and expand the pfer and licensing of copyright and design patents in the market," he said.
Du Yuzhou, President of China Textile Industry Association, said in 2009 that the Sino Italian intellectual property forum was jointly organized by the China Textile Industry Association and the Italy textile and garment Federation.
"Major technological progress and innovation in the industry need more and more pnational integration of proprietary technology.
In particular, the front-end and terminal enterprises of the industrial chain can jointly develop new patent technologies with systematic significance by strengthening the cross licensing of industrial patents at home and abroad, explore new ways of cooperation in intellectual property rights, expand intellectual property rights trade, and jointly enhance competitiveness.
Mr. Shi Qiao, Secretary General of Japan Fiber Machinery Association, praised ITMA ASIA + CITME2010: "Japanese exhibitors are very satisfied with the organization of this exhibition.
Not only the large exhibitors signed the order, but also the small and medium-sized enterprises exhibiting.
Unlike in the past, there are many buyers from Southeast Asian countries like India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, who are doing business with exhibitors.
The effective protection of exhibitors' intellectual property rights will no longer allow the world's advanced textile machinery manufacturers to worry about attending exhibitions.
"While studying related intellectual property rights, enterprises will fully understand different technological schools in different countries, and thus inspire and guide the innovation of their products."
Liu Jiaqiang said.
Seek greater development through innovation
In 2001, after China's accession to the world trade organization, intellectual property rights were not only technical and economic problems, but also rose to the level of national diplomacy and politics.
It is a pressing problem for the developed countries to gain more economic and political benefits worldwide, to use knowledge barriers, to strengthen their economic status, and how to deal with the intellectual property challenges of developed countries, especially pnational corporations, and to develop the national economy.
In April 9, 2008, the State Council deliberated and passed the outline of the national intellectual property strategy, forming an effective operation mechanism from a strategic height, creating a good legal and policy environment, and building an intellectual property service platform.
The core technology with independent intellectual property rights and the protection of intellectual property rights will become a bargaining chip for Chinese enterprises to participate in international competition.
To actively respond to challenges, Chinese textile machinery enterprises must strengthen R & D innovation in the fields of patent rights, trademark rights, copyright, trade secrets, layout design of integrated circuits, and develop products with independent intellectual property rights.
In recent years, the China Textile machinery and equipment industry association has been actively responding to the new situation and has been doing well in the field of intellectual property protection.
"For example, we should popularize knowledge about intellectual property rights, organize special training courses, and cultivate enterprises' intellectual property backbone, and provide advice for enterprises to apply for patents, avoid patent rights, crack down on patent infringement and intellectual property disputes, participate in the decision-making of enterprises, analyze and study the technological development trend of textile machinery products, and serve the technological innovation of textile machinery industry."
Liu Jiaqiang said.
At the same time, the textile and Trade Promotion Committee is taking active measures to strengthen the registration and filing of intellectual property rights in exhibitions.
The office of Intellectual Property Office will record the cases of suspected infringement of intellectual property rights at every exhibition site, record disputes and settle the results, and form a report on intellectual property rights, so as to create conditions for the smooth conduct of the intellectual property protection of the next exhibition.
In addition, the textile Promotion Council launched the China Textile legal service network in November 2003, providing the latest information on intellectual property legislation and cases for member enterprises to answer intellectual property issues for enterprises.
In 2006, the textile industry "11th Five-Year" development plan explicitly called for "establishing and improving intellectual property rights and innovation, cultivating independent brand protection mechanism, strengthening the construction of textile and clothing independent brand, and strengthening the brand awareness of enterprises".
In 2009, the textile industry readjustment and revitalization plan also called for China's textile industry to carry out its own brand building project, and achieve a major breakthrough in new material technology, new textile machinery technology and other new process technologies with independent intellectual property rights.
It can be seen that promoting R & D and innovation of new and high technology with independent intellectual property rights, combining intellectual property resources such as trademarks, patents, industrial design, information industry, cultural and creative industries with industrial manufacturing advantages and traditional industrial advantages, promoting pformation and exchange of innovation and creative achievements, and strengthening exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign enterprises in the field of intellectual property rights are not only the only way for adjustment and upgrading of the textile industry, but also a strategic requirement for promoting the implementation of national intellectual property strategy, forming and developing China's core competitiveness and taking a new road to industrialization.
