Recently, reporters learned from relevant departments that the key technology research and integration demonstration project of sericulture modern industrial chain, which was implemented in Nanchong, Sichuan, is one of the major projects of Sichuan's urban and rural development science and technology action. Since its inception in July 2009, it has progressed smoothly.

According to the introduction, the implementation period of the project is three years, that is, from July 2009 to June 2012, the project is divided into four stages, including start-up, R & D integration, main technology demonstration application, and comprehensive promotion and application.

Sericulture industry

Faced with the following problems: low technology integration, less comprehensive utilization of by-products, single product structure, imperfect technology chain and imperfect industrial chain, and strive to build a new sericulture through five aspects, namely, market-oriented, production, research and research, carrying out independent innovation, technological integration, scientific and technological research, industrial development and pformation of scientific and technological achievements, and systematically constructing new mulberry silkworm varieties, labor-saving planting mulberry sericulture, comprehensive utilization of silkworm and mulberry by-products, intelligent testing of cocoon quality, and development of new silk products.

Industrial system

To improve the overall level of sericulture and silk industry in Sichuan Province, enhance the core competitiveness of the industry, promote the development of modern sericulture and silk industry, promote the prosperity of sericultural farmers in the province, promote the building of a new socialist countryside, and speed up the coordinated development of urban and rural areas.

In the implementation of the project, Nanchong selected the Wenfeng town of Baya town and Jialing District in Langzhong as the high-quality silkworm.

Demonstration base

In order to popularize the new mulberry variety demonstration base, water view town has studied 7 key integrated technologies, and has developed more than 10 new products. The sales revenue has reached 58 million 120 thousand yuan, and the new tax and profit has been 10 million yuan, driving more than 5000 farmers to increase their income.
