Nanotechnology is a hot topic in the current scientific community. It is reported that the national "12th Five-Year plan" has applied new materials such as nanomaterials to the newly developed industries. However, there are two major difficulties in the application of nanotechnology in the field of textile and clothing. One is the use of clothes or fibers immersed in nano solutions in the early stage to enhance the nano functionality of clothing. However, its effectiveness is short and many of them are not comfortable. Two, many of the results are confined to laboratories, which are divorced from industrialization and seldom integrated into brand clothing, and it is difficult to see the popular "nano coat" in the market.
Donghua University is the first university in China to set up doctoral point of "nanofiber and hybrid material", and also a training unit of "Shanghai nanotechnology and application capability". Two years ago, Professor Zhu Meifang led and gathered a team of interdisciplinary researchers from Donghua University, including materials, chemistry, physics, clothing, dyeing, finishing and machinery. Based on the National Key Laboratory of fiber material modification, he worked closely with famous enterprises in the fields of raw materials, fiber and clothing. From the perspective of market, he tackled key technologies of "highly sensitive nano antibacterial knitted product series".
Silver, as a safe and environmentally-friendly natural bactericide, can produce a qualitative leap in the nanoscale state. To this end, the project group one is based on the long-lasting effect of "antibacterial high sensitive clothing", and repeated experiments, using nano silver particles and its slow release technology to develop new nanofibers with long-lasting antibacterial properties; two, based on the comfort of "antibacterial high sensitive clothing", the key is to enhance the sensibility of new antibacterial fibers by controlling the diameter of fibers and fiber shape, and use the knitted products made of raw materials, and then design and develop the antibacterial function of moisture absorbent and sweaty pure polyester, polyester / cotton and polyester /Modal knitted fabrics.
More importantly, Donghua University has joined hands with several enterprises to cover the entire industrial chain from nano powder to resin preparation, spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing, knitting terminal products and brand design. At present, many manufacturers such as Kang Da Da technology, Devoortn chemical fiber and Shenfu textile have begun to produce functional powder, fiber or yarn. Shanghai three gun group, Ordifen group, Jialin Jie textile, Salome clothing and other enterprises have also cooperated to develop fabrics, fabrics and products. The related indexes of knitted fabrics have been tested by the national textile quality inspection center and have reached the AAA standard of the state. They developed underwear, T-shirt, knitted sweater, socks, kneecap and other nano knitted products. They are fashionable, comfortable and fashionable, and are very popular with consumers.
In the past two years, the project has participated in nearly 90 teachers and students, nearly 20 participating companies, and has trained nearly 30 Ph. D, master and undergraduate students. 14 papers have been published in academic journals at home and abroad, 9 have applied for national invention patents, and 1 have been authorized. The technological achievements have been promoted and applied in the relevant cooperative enterprises, and 14 series products of four categories, namely, powder, fiber, yarn and fabric with independent intellectual property rights have been developed. As of September 2010, the series of antibacterial products has accumulated nearly 50 million yuan in output value, about 9000000 yuan in new profits and about 3000000 yuan in new taxes.
