    Put questions to:

    The warp

And what is the weft yarn?

Answer: all kinds of fabrics have length and width, and the length parallel to the selvage is called the length. The direction of the length is the warp direction; the length perpendicular to the selvage is called the width, and the direction of the width is the weft direction of the fabric.

Warp yarns are called warp yarns, and the weft yarns are called weft yarns.

We usually see fabric marks similar to 60S*40S that refer to warp / weft, which indicates that the warp direction of fabrics is 60.

    yarn

And the latitudinal is the 40 yarn.

Question: what is the density of fabric?

Answer: density refers to the warp and weft density of fabric, that is, 1 square inch fabric contains the number of warp and weft yarns.

For example, 200 yarns /1 square inch, and its meridian is 110 yarns.

    Zonal direction

    For 90 yarns.

The higher the density, the lower the shrinkage of fabric.

    Plain weave

    30S*30S generally has density 76*68 and 78*65.

    40S*30S generally has density 110*80 and 110*90.

    twill

    40S*30S generally has density 126*60 and 133*72.

    Satin weave

    40S*30S generally has density 138*86, 133*95 and 140*90.

    40S*40S generally has a density of 140*100

    60S*40S generally has a density of 173*124

    60S*60S generally has a density of 172*143

    Jacquard weave

    40S*40S generally has a density of 133*88

    60S*60S generally has a density of 190*124

Question: what is the shrinkage rate?

    Answer:

    Shrinkage

Refers to the percentage of fabric shrinkage after washing or soaking.

Generally speaking, the fabrics with the lowest shrinkage rate are synthetic fibers and their blended fabrics, followed by woolen fabrics, linen fabrics, cotton fabrics, and the largest ones are viscose fibers, synthetic cotton and artificial wool fabrics.

The national standard shrinkage rate is less than 4%, for example, the size of the 200*230 cm cover, after washing or soaking, the size is 192*222 cm, which is in line with the national standard.

Fabric shrinkage is also a measure of product quality.

It is related to the following factors:

    Textile

The shrinkage of the raw materials is different, and the shrinkage rate is the same.

If the viscose fiber has a high water absorption rate of 13%, and the moisture absorption of the synthetic fabric is poor, its shrinkage rate is smaller, which is viscose > cotton > polyester cotton > polyester. The density of the fabric is different and the shrinkage rate is different.

The lower the density, the greater the shrinkage rate; the different thickness of the yarn and the shrinkage rate of the fabric.

The thicker the yarn is, the greater the shrinkage rate. The shrinkage and shrinkage of fabric are different.

The medium and high grade bedclothes are made of high count and high density fabrics, and they are pre stretched and pretreated, and at the same time, a certain proportion of shrinkage is reserved in sewing.

    Question: what is plain fabric?

Answer: plain weave is crisscross weaving, weaving warp and weft yarn together into a loop in the process of weaving.

Because there are many interweaves in plain weave, the structure is tight and firm, and the appearance is smooth. But compared with other fabrics, the handle is more rigid.

If the density of plain fabric is small, the length of the floating line will be larger, the bending resistance will be smaller, the fabric will become soft, and the handle will be stiff.

Because of its interweaving point, its floating line is shorter than that of twill and satin fabrics, and its air permeability is relatively poor. The larger the density is, the worse the permeability is, so the low bed products often use low density.
