Cashmere, Heritage From Kashmir

The history of using cashmere is far earlier than that of applying wool.

In a period of primitive society that had not yet appeared in the iron, the wool was spun from the natural shedding of the goat and the cashmere drawn by the hand, but the wool from the sheep was used after the scissors were invented.

In eighteenth Century, the British made a special "court Costume" with cashmere. The appearance was very noble.

In the Tang Dynasty, cashmere wool woven from goat's thin and soft inner hair (velvet) was called "Velvet Brown". It was light and warm and loved by people.

In the Ming Dynasty, the book also describes the way to produce cashmere cloth: finger plucking, and then "thread weaving Velvet Brown".

Although the history of the use of cashmere is very early, industrial production has only been realized in modern times. This is mainly due to the fact that there are a lot of coarse hairs caught from the cashmere goat's body, and the separation of "wool" and "wool" by mechanical means requires special "Combing" technology and equipment.

In nineteenth Century, the technology was monopolized by the United Kingdom.

After twentieth Century, there were cashmere combing manufacturers in the United States, Japan and Hongkong.

In early 1960s, China made the first generation of cashmere carding machine BC273, and began to export its final products with its own cashmere carding.

In 1980s, Ordos, Tianshan and other enterprises took the lead in introducing cashmere carding and carding technology in Japan and other countries.

The reason why cashmere is so expensive is that it is expensive.

The main producing countries of the world cashmere are China, Mongolia, Iran, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Turkey and other countries. In the past ten years, the annual output of the world's original velvet is stable at 15000 tons to 16000 tons, of which China accounts for more than 70% of the world's total output, and Mongolia produces about 20% of cashmere.

In cashmere resources, white cashmere is the most valuable, and its output accounts for only about 30% of the world's cashmere output.

In the international market, more than 50% of the quality cashmere products in the world are produced in Inner Mongolia, Inner Mongolia's al bass cashmere goats, Alashan cashmere goats, and Erlang Shan cashmere goats, and Chifeng Sai Han cashmere goats are the main source of Chinese fine cashmere. Meanwhile, the annual output of Inner Mongolia goats is 1/2 of the whole country, accounting for 1/3 of the world. It is known as "world cashmere China and China cashmere Inner Mongolia". The more than 2600 cashmere enterprises in China gather 90% of the world's cashmere raw materials, and the processed products are exported to Japan, the United States, Italy, Britain, France and other 4O countries and regions, accounting for 80% of the world's exports.
