The Tibetan compatriots in Yushu have the custom of collecting precious stones for decoration, making the costumes look more magnificent than other Tibetan areas. This has also achieved the reputation of "clothing town" in Yushu Tibetan area.

    Tibetan Cloak

It is the basic style of Tibetan clothes in Yushu, which includes winter wear, summer wear, regular clothes and formal dress.

The uniform is made of cloth and dresses, and the dress is made of finer material such as wool, silk, brocade, and so on. It is also decorated with otter skins and tiger leopard skins.

There are more than 10 kinds of Tibetan summer and summer in Yushu. The most common winter clothing is the fur lined with otter, called "Cha sang".

In the Tibetan robe, the ladies' dress is the most elegant and luxurious. They must put more than 30 centimeters of otter skins on the side of the pendulum and splice them into black and white patterns, and then add 15 centimeters of colored brocade.

The summer dress of Yushu women is called "Jin Xin". It is made of kimchi, woolen cloth, satin and so on, and is lined with brocade. It appears to be plain and elegant Gao Jie.

The shirts worn by Tibetan men and women are high lapel, right skew, big white skirt, male white female color (big red, pink, dark green, etc.).

Tibetan men's trousers are mostly big trouser tubes, mostly white. They are very traditional and cool in high waist hide boots made of brown or leather.

The headwear of men and women in Yushu is also very interesting.

On the head of the man, he has many hair braids, with hoops on top of his head, and decorated with swinging large red tassel ears, which is typical of the Kemba man's headwear.

Women usually comb thirty or forty small thin plaits on their heads, and they are decorated with jewellery and colored silk spikes on the top of the plait, and then wear the headgear with the amber ball as the main (not wearing double), with red coral, turquoise and other jewellery, gorgeous and noble.

Yushu people's jewelry is mainly composed of Tianzhu (Tibetan name "Si") and coral (Tibetan called "Zhi Ma"), with turquoise, pearls and so on.

Women usually wear a string of about 30 jewels. They wear 2 to 8 strings during the festival. They also wear a gold and silver protective Buddhist shrine (called "GWU"), which contains Buddha statues, Buddha incantation and other sacred objects.

Women must also wear waist belts, and are very sophisticated. They usually wear 2 to 3 pieces, and are made up of silver plates or white copper plates with gold or silver gilding. They are also equipped with small knives, needle boxes, milk barrel hooks, silver chains, bell rings, and so on.

Men's general accessories, such as waist knife, elastic band, fire flare and fork gun, show their masculinity.

Yushu Tibetan men and women wear bracelets, like bone, gold and silver, and jade bracelets. They also have beads of heaven, coral, turquoise, and bracelets like bone beads.

Men's rings are mostly gold, silver and bronze saddle shaped Tibetan rings with red coral, agate, Tianzhu, turquoise and other jewels.

The earrings are worn by both men and women, of whom the men wear the left and do not wear the right, and the female wear double earrings.
