    The development and application of green technology is accelerating.

    New technologies, such as new cooling technology of cotton spinning, automatic control technology of cotton spinning and air-conditioning, printing and dyeing high efficiency short flow pre-treatment, biological enzyme desizing, cold pad batch pretreatment and dyeing technology, have been developed and breakthroughs and applied widely, so that the industry has achieved obvious results in energy saving and water saving. A batch of pollutants control technologies, such as dyeing and printing wastewater separation and advanced treatment and recycling technology, and activated carbon adsorption treatment of viscose waste gas, have been widely applied in industries, effectively reducing the discharge of liquid and gas pollutants, improving the level of cleaner production, accelerating the popularization and utilization of waste polyesters, recycling of condensate and cooling water, recovery of waste heat and reclaimed water, and improving the utilization efficiency of various resources.

    Since the implementation of the plan, the comprehensive energy consumption of the textile industrial units has decreased by 8% at comparable prices. The annual sewage consumption per unit of added value has dropped by about 10%, and the water reuse rate has increased from 10% to 15%.
